I had the rib eye steak and my Sis had filet mignon. Both excellent. Our waitress, Holly, was top notch. Knew her stuff. Very friendly and told us to take our time when she brought the check because she didn't need our table. The view of the hills were so pretty in the evening light. Great place to go. :)
3.8 stars, Steak and rib combo, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly as ordered, the ribs were very tender, could have used a little more flavor. Appetizers were good, service was excellent. Overall pretty good, average
Had the pleasure of dining at Rusty's Ranch House when spending the night in Cedar City at recommendation from staff at our hotel. They were spot on! Great food and service, a fun atmosphere and simply a wonderful evening. My grandson gobbled down everything on his plate which is saying a lot for a picky eater. I wasn't all that hungry so ordered an appetizer that turned out to be huge with spicy wings, ribs and potatoes. No problems finishing it all as both my husband and grandson helped with everyone loving it all. Highly recommend!
We arrived and waited 20 minutes for water and 30 minutes for bread. Normal orders for appetizers were taken and delivered as expected. Our steak was bland and a lower cut of meat than we are accustomed to at a steakhouse. My wife's salmon was on the edge of being too old and undercooked. I mentioned this to the waitstaff and was assured something would be done.I waited and paid the full price due to my impatience. The lack of management and accountability leads to lower standards and they are at the bottom.The wait staff was very friendly, just not effective.

The food was amazing here! From the salad, to the steak, to the brownie sundae! But our server, Noel D was AMAZING. Absolutely one of the best servers I've ever had in my life. As a young adult, I often get mistreated by servers, they tend to treat me with less respect because they assume I won't tip well or appreciate their service. But Noel was so sweet and really took care of me and my friend. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere!
Delicious rib eye cooked to perfection. Would have given a five star but the sweet potato was small and over cooked. That said, I will go there again and be happy to do so. Cedar Canyon is beautiful and the casual setting is nice with the elk and moose heads looking on as you enjoy eating their domesticated cousin.
Great Food and Atmosohere
Lousy service food was alright didn't match the hype. A $30 steak shouldn't be that tough. I was the first one in last night and I sat and watched as people all around me were getting bread salad etc took almost 40 minutes just to get my meal.
