Yummy Ice Cream and friendly staff! Grab some treats and walk across the street to burn it off at the awesome Main Street Park!
The cupcakes and cheesecake were DELICIOUS! I came in with my mom and we met the owner. She was so kind and we talked with her for a while about life and how she became the owner of the bakery. She has an amazing story and I’m glad we had the opportunity to meet her and enjoy her bakery.
Just ate at the best dessert place in Cedar! The place has been remodeled and is under new ownership! Whoever cooks these treats is absolutely talented! We will definitely come back!
They had a reopening this weekend with new ownership and wow. This place is amazing! They’ve remodeled and the place is darling. We got yummy ice cream (cookies & cream was BOMB), the snickers cheesecake is dreamy, and the cookie dough cupcake was delicious with the perfect amount of icing. They have regular and cheesy sourdough breads, brownies, cookies, etc. Oh and they do custom cakes! Long story short: this will be our favorite go to place for yummy desserts for date and family nights!
Visited Palette Bakery for its Grand Reopening, and got the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cheesecake. It was incredible. New owners have done a great job remodeling. It's a clean and vibrant atmosphere, and a great place to grab a treat.
My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from Palette and it was absolutely perfect! It was painted and displayed beautifully for our reception. We also did a cake tasting with them as well, it was so much fun and they helped with all my questions and concerns. Thank you so so much!
They are extremely expensive. In my opinion it's just not worth it. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and they have outside seating. It is very clean. However for a medium icecream (approximately 3 scoops) they charge over $5. Aside from that, the ice cream has a nice texture, but honestly out of the flavors my group got none were satisfying.
I feel bad writing a bad review- because I never do. But my experience was disappointing and I will never go back. I would like to save someone else $10. I ordered chocolate croissants. They were sitting out and then the cashier put them on the counter near the register with no packaging or paper- just put them down on the bare counter -gross. The croissants were so dry and old - took one bite and threw all them both away. Not fresh and not good. The place looked a mess- and the kitchen behind the counter looked disorganized and gross. I really wanted to like this place but I won’t go back.
I very rarely post reviews much less negative but I feel the need to. I ordered a white cake with white frosting and blue accents and sprinkles. Total price came to 61.10. I called the shop and changed the white frosting to cream cheese frosting. Picked it up today and was totally shocked to see the size of the cake. It was a quarter of the expected size. See picture. Instead of white cake it was a weirdly flavored banana. The top layer of the cake wasn't cooked all the way through. Very few sprinkles. Frosting was not cream cheese. So disappointed. Will not shop there again.
Tried four flavors of ice cream, none of them were good. The family bought butter pecan, chocolate brownie, mint oreo, and rose raspberry. Although the texture of the ice cream was good, smooth and creamy, flavor control was a mess. I suspect flavor is added to these ice creams through oils and extracts because the rose, mint, and surprisingly even the chocolate were nearly inedible, and none of the single scoop orders were finished before being thrown away. It's generally understood that adding rose to anything runs the risk of it tasting like straight perfume, so when it did we weren't taken completely by surprise, but hoo it was strong. But mint is usually a little safer. In this case it was an extremely potent peppermint / candy cane mint and it cleared the sinuses, while unfortunately also clearing away any attempt to taste oreos. The real surprise was the chocolate, I have no idea what the strange chemical taste was that first hits the tongue when eating chocolate, but it wasn't good. It was also the first of these three that I tasted, so it wasn't due to lingering effects. Very strange. The only ice cream that we finished was the butter pecan, my choice, so I guess I won the family trip to the parlor? This ice cream suffered from a different problem. It had no butter flavor. If it was called "sweet cream pecan" I might have ordered it and thought it delivered as advertised.Overall very disappointing. The pretzel sample was good though, maybe the bakery is worth it?
