The food was okay. The service was not good. The sign on the door said they were open until midnight, but they stopped serving coffee at 9pm when we got our meals, after waiting a half hour for someone to greet us and get a table. It wasn't that busy. They said they had 1 cook, 1 experienced server, and 1 new server. I have worked in the food industry for 12+ years and it would have been nice to see the whole team working together, rather than throwing the new server under the bus, but not helping this person at all.
Selena is by far the best waitress this Cedar City IHOP has ever had. We never come to this IHOP because it always disappoints. Thanks to Selena of cedar city, she has restored our desire to come again. Our drinks were so fast and perfect timing. We didn’t wait 5 minutes to be seated. The food was hot and great portion sizes. And came out quick. She was very kind and didn’t forget anything we requested. Which I know these are things the company expects from their employees. However, Selena knew exactly how many boxes we needed and what we needed without asking. Even when she had multiple tables and the establishment was very busy at the time. Restaurant was clean and our server Brianna was great. She made sure our order was perfect and that our drinks were always full. She made pleasant small talk and had a great work attitude. Made the experience nice. The food was great for the price, great portions.
Food was ok and the waitress was nice and helpful. Would I go here again? Not sure if there was anything here so spectacular that I would need to return. It was a convenient place to go because it was within walking distance of our motel.
The food was not fully cooked, there was ice on my lettuce which was on my burger and that made it probably the worst dining experiences I've had yet plus they didn't even bring the right food to me. I understand they were understaffed and the server did the best she could. And because if the ice on my burger she gave me extra pancakes. That is the only reason it got a 3 instead of a 1 or 2 star review. I hope yhey can fix their staffing issues because I think it would have potential to offer a satisfying meal
Annual Christmas morning breakfast. IHOP was working without a full staff. The wait time to be seated wasn't very long. Servers were professional and happy. Meal was prepared and served in a timely manner. All in all this is the reason for the 5 star's. I will be returning for another meal.
I ordered a sirloin steak well done. It arrived chopped left overs from last night's dinner with old onions and old mushrooms. They forgot our diet Pepsi, and the strawberry crepes tasted like fish.

Food was great! Service... Eh. But it's IHOP so whatever. Took forever to get seated, even though there were plenty of two tops. (Maybe short staffed? Idk) but again, food was great! Even the coffee was decent!
