I tend to like Del Taco and the food tends to be pretty consistent from location to location. I stopped at this location on a road trip and chose to go inside so we could use the restrooms. The store was clean enough, including the restrooms. I only had one complaint but it was big. I recently had ankle surgery so have been utilizing handicapped parking stalls. We parked and I made my way to the nearest door but it was locked. I had to go out into the parking lot around cars and up a very tall curb while on crutches to get into the store. I mentioned this to a person at the counter but they were rather indifferent about the matter.Before I had my surgery and had such a hard time getting around, this wouldn't have been a big deal but now it was almost monumental to get into the store. I was very disappointed and will really need a craving for the food to use this location again.
We wanted a fast breakfast so we gave Del Taco a try. The inside was not busy but the drive thru was...there were only two women working, Nancy, a younger woman taking orders and admore mature woman prepping food. The place was clean, the service was relatively fast and they were friendly! The amount of work going on was impressive...looked like they were also prepping for lunch. I can not rate for all experiences but if you go when these two have the helm, you should have a great experience!
I eat here a lot because the food is good, but they mess up the orders way too much for me to not comment on it. I used to try to order stuff with guac, but I learned after a couple of times that they just don't put it on and if you order with guac, at least if you're in the drive-thru, you will just not get it and you paid extra for nothing. Several times, I've just not received an item at all that I ordered. I developed a habit of after they hand me the bag I will look at what's in the bag and count the items to make sure everything is there before I leave. I'm not super picky, if I get something that's not what I ordered, generally I just shrug it off and I'm fine with it, as long as I wasn't charged extra for something that I didn't get.This morning I order two asada carbon tacos with my usual order. I look in the bag and everything is there, two of the tacos even have the asad sticker on the outside. When I go to eat my breakfast, I open one of the asada taco wrappers and it's chicken. I look at the reciept to see what it says and it says asada. Asada costs twice as much as chicken. Not cool.Also sometimes they seem to be either put of corn tortillas or cabbage, and substitute one or both of these for a flour tortilla or lettuce in fish tacos without asking first. If they ask first I would always say no and order something else because a fish taco with a flour tortilla and lettuce is pretty gross. Imagine if you went to a burger place and without warning you beforehand, they used cabbage instead of lettuce and cucumber slices instead of pickles without letting you know beforehand.
After walking around town for a full day, rewarding filler. Fries are well done steak be cooked and the avocado fresh.
From the time I pulled in and pulled out of the drive-through, it had been 37 minutes. I ordered a macho fry, which was way overcooked cold and not full. The frys were as hard as a rock and way too much salt. There was absolutely no meat in the tacos. Not impressed, to be honest, it sucked.
Not into discussing fast food places, but here it goes. Food is Del Taco, suppose to be consistent and quick. Food is consistent, but never quick. I don't think we have ever made it out in under 15 minutes, most recent 25 minutes. Drive thru has priority, so maybe go that way.
Its fast food. We were coming home from an ice fishing trip and stopped to eat. I could probably eat six of the carne asada tacos they offer. Pretty good! The customer Service was ok, not the most happiest people at the moment. felt like it more of, "hi, what do you want", thing.Place was pretty clean, a couple tables with some spots on the floor needed cleaned up , but it was pretty clean. I feel though as you should always be cleaning if your not busy.I would eat there again.Thanks guys for serving us and being there!!!
They were a little short staffed, but the food was good and fresh and pleasant service (as she was handling a steady flow of people in both the dining room , to include door dash pick up orders and drive thru) the dinning room and restrooms were clean.
I only gave a star because I was required to. I ordered the simplest item on the menu: a bean & cheese burrito with GREEN SAUCE. I am ALLERGIC to RED SAUCE. I took a bite before I found out! I might have to call an ambulance because my throat is burning & feels like it is closing up. They did not give me my money back. I felt it was purposeful because I told them I AM ALLERGIC. THEY DID NOT GIVE ME A RECEIPT. THEY DO NOT CARE, ABOUT THEIR FOOD OR YOUR LIFE. DO NOT GO HERE!!! ?️
Usually everything is great here. Last time it was quite disappointing. Hardly any chicken was in the chicken burrito and the fries were pretty cold. Hoping it was just a glitch in a bad day that we caught them on.
