Such a wonderful stop. The breakfast portions were enormous and totally satisfying. The staff was so kind and patient as we made our decisions. They came multiple times to top off our coffee and check on us. They offered half portions of some of the dishes which were great because there was no way I would’ve been able to finish the full portion. I totally recommend this place and look forward to the day that I can come back again.
After hearing "staff shortage excuses" all over the country, what a delight to find a place with plenty of staff. Even with a large crowd, we were seated immediately, waited on right away and food served within 10 minutes of ordering. We asked the staff about their secret, and they said they work as a team, help each other out. Some servers have worked there for years! They are really doing something right. Food was great, large portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommend. We ate breakfast and came back for dinner. No gluten free options, but plenty of food without gluten.
It’s a nice atmosphere and the service was good. The food is standard diner food (we went for breakfast). You’ll get good-sized portions, so you shouldn’t leave hungry.
What a great find. They have a nice, large menu of homemade, fresh items. Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. I can’t imagine how they stay in business! Also, the service was great. Credit cards are accepted.I had the six oz sirloin. It came with two sides. I had the tomato soup (it was delicious and homemade) and a baked potato with sour cream and butter for $11.99.I was too full to try the mouthwatering desserts.
4.0 stars, Breakfast for dinner, had the biscuits and gravy meal, it was fresh gravy and the biscuits were tasty as well. Sausage patter was excellent along with the hashbrowns and eggs. Will come back for more.
Fabulous find on a Sunday evening after National Park hiking. Great food and friendly service, all at affordable prices. It was just what our group needed as we put our feet up and wrap up the active weekend. Look no further than this place!
Went here on our way back from Vegas and it was an amazing diner tbh. Wasn't sure if we wanted pizza, Mexican, or this diner. But I'm glad we chose this place. We had the scones and motz sticks for an appetizer. Both very good. My dad had the patty melt and he said it was the best patty melt he ever had. I had this stuffed burger with bacon. Jalapenos, and cheese stuffed inside it. Was so good and very hot. Even after I was eating it, steam was coming out of it still. Just how I like it. Great place and if you're passing thru, be sure to stop by here.
Really good food! My boyfriend & I were starving after hiking all day, so this was a great spot to stop for that. The burgers, chocolate milkshake, & fried cheesecake dessert are all very yummy!
Good food. Good portions. Fair prices. Small and very crowded. Clearly a popular place. Only problem was we were seated in the doorway on a very cold day. We had a breeze of cold air every time the door opened, which was constant. Very unpleasant. We asked to move but the hostess said no. :/. No other seats?? She seated others all around us. The waitress was great. Can’t blame her.
Friendly staff and good service. Loved the food. I especially liked the biscuits and gravy. They put the biscuits on the flattop giving them a good crunch offsetting the gravy and eggs. Very HEALTHY portions. Best place I’ve eaten in Cedar!!!!
