We had a coupon which gave us 2 one-meat plates for $22. Each plate came with two sides and a roll. Also, there was a shared desert, and we got the HUGE cinnamon roll. The meat portions were generous, and we ended up taking leftovers home. The service was excellent and more. Great experience. Well be going back.
Ordered the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and brisket. I don’t generally love Mac and cheese from restaurants but Wallaby’s is really good! The mashed potatoes were delicious. I like to smoke my own brisket but I really like Wallaby’s brisket. It’s got a good flavor.
Not what I expected. But not bad. More Bbq sauce than i expected on my burger. Just make sure you read the menu. And the entrance is by the road. Not by the parking. Food tasted fine, was hot and fresh. Super greasy but its a bbq joint so thats to be expected. Not your 'typical' sit down restaurant.
I was looking forward to a 5 star review, since I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it, but I can’t say I had a 5 star experience. The door on the parking lot sticks a bit when opening it and I lost a year of my life when the door slammed shut behind me.I needed to use the bathroom when I got there so I went there first. In the first stall I tried, the door was sagging and I could not lift it up to latch it so I went to the next one.You guys, the door opens so close to the bowl I had to straddle the toilet to open and shut the door!Only one of the two sinks works well. I can’t judge the facilities too harshly though; I mean the place used to be an Applebee’s ?♀️The line was wrapped around the front when I came in but it moved quickly and the staff is friendly. I was able to find a decent, clean table without much trouble on a Friday night and my food arrived after only a couple of minutes. When it did, I was in brisket heaven.Oh my gosh, it was soo good. ? Fork tender and flavorful. I didn’t need any of the delicious bbq sauce they have, but I used it cause I’m a sauce girl. The roll is like a super sized Texas Roadhouse roll. I also had the wild and sweet salad which was great. The Mac n cheese was a bit disappointing. The last time I ate here it was so smooth and creamy, no black pepper and it was just so good. This time it reminded me of homemade Mac n cheese that one would take to work for leftovers the next day and over microwave on accident, loaded with black pepper. I’m not a fan of black pepper. I don’t think I’ll be ordering the Mac n cheese again. You have to try the Pomegranate limeade! It’s to die for. I fully expected it to have an aftertaste but it is soo smooth and delicious! I have regrets over forgetting to get a refill on my way out ? I’ll be back for more of that Ambrosia soon, Wallaby’s!
This place is great! Great food at a reasonable price. The brisket was really flavorful and don’t miss out on the mac and cheese! I highly recommend it!
I've tried Wallabys before and loved it.. This time was a bust. We got 2 of the 3 Meat Plates with all different meats. The ribs were so charred we couldn't eat them, the Tri Tip was definitely not worth paying extra for, the lemon pepper chicken was WAY over seasoned, our rolls were pretty much burnt on top, and fries were super over done. The rest was okay. Not great like my last visit. I'm super sad.
Stoked to see wallabys in American Fork. They took over the old Applebee's location (thank god) I've always loved this family owned & operated Australian BBQ for over 10 years now.You really can't go wrong with anything here but the Tri-Tip steak is my favorite with mashed potatoes and their macaroni. The special for tri tip is Tuesdays and it's an awesome deal!A 3 meat plate is usually 15.99 but with brisket & tri tip was about $20 (worth it)They have TVs set up to catch games as well which is nice.
Incredible tasting food. This place tastes better than other Wallabys restaurants that I have tried. This place has also better lighting and faster service! It all depends if you like this type of food. I personally enjoyed it and I have eaten almost everything on the menu!
I was pleasantly surprised by Wallaby’s! Although I had heard excellent things about their tri-tip, I actually liked the shredded chicken and pulled pork much better. The rolls and ho yes butter, as well as e smashers, we’re probably my favorite though! I’d say 4.5 stars overall—a yummy spot.
Food was mostly good. I got the lemon chicken and chipotle chicken with coleslaw and creamed corn. Chicken had good flavor, but the chipotle chicken was shredded and was a bit dry. Coleslaw was good but could have used a little more flavor
