Wow! This was a fantastic experience! My husband and I had a wonderful date night, mostly because of our waiter Winston (but the ticket said Wilson, so I may have heard wrong). He was the best and treated us so well! He made us feel so welcome and was kind and attentive. The food was also top notch. They bring you chips and salsa to start out with, and the salsas are delicious. My husband ordered the famous carnitas, and they were sooooo good! Best carnitas we have ever had. I ordered the Agave Bowl with chicken, and it was spectacular as well! I loved the Aioli sauce on top. For dessert, we had the much acclaimed butter cake. Ooh la la! It was good! It is $14, so it is a little pricy, and you can’t take it to go because it has ice cream on top, but you WILL eat the whole thing! We had a wonderful time here.

Excellent menu and food quality. Modern yet welcoming decor. Full bar with unique custom cocktail menu. Guac sampler is a must try! It was busy at lunch, but the meal pace didn't suffer at all. Attentive and friendly staff. Every I would expect from a more upscale Mexican restaurant. It's also close to the freeway, so it's a good location for a business lunch.

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant, I appreciated the clean sleek ambiance the restaurant gives. The queso fondue was my least favorite, had an orange velveta color and lacked flavor. A consistent fail throughout the night was the amount of tortillas brought out to the table, for the fondue they only brought out two tortillas for a table of three. For a fajita plate or carnitas plate one tortilla as well. Each tortilla is individually wrapped in foil; one: wasteful, two: it breaks the tortillas into several pieces. Yes, we did ask for more tortillas and again we were only brought 2 more for a table of three. Server was nice but dropped the ball on attentiveness. The menu is small which is a good sign towards the quality of food, but a bit vague because we didn’t know what to expect from our dishes. Our main dishes were actually very good.

First time here & the food was sooo yummy! The host at the front door who sat us down at our table was sweet and welcoming! But… our waiters/servers were really disappointing. The lady who brought out our chips and bean dip didn’t greet us or make us feel welcome.. just put it on our table and left. Our waiter… he wasn’t very friendly either & made my family feel forgotten about because he wasn’t around. Really didn’t even ask how our food was or anything like that. I would give it another chance tho just because the food really was so good.? but needs better service.

Sol agave has been recommended to me for a while now and I finally went. It was amazing! And I do not say that lightly. I had the chicken enchiladas (they were out of lobster enchiladas which is highly recommended) and it was delicious. They went above and beyond with the cheese and toppings and all of it combined together so well. For dessert we had some sort of cake - honestly we just ordered it because we saw the table next to us get it. It had a brown butter and butter cake with ice cream and it was cooked perfectly.OH and the guacamole. Some of the best guacamole I’ve had a restaurant. It was well flavored but still light and excellently blended/whipped. I don’t know how they did it but I loved it.And of course the service was excellent. I did make a reservation so that helped to not wait.

Sol Agave has great Mexican food!Heard a lot of good things about this place and we had something special to celebrate so we decided to pick Sol Agave. Couldn’t go wrong with it!Usually there seems to be a wait of 20 to 25 mins to get an indoor seating. But if your willing to sit outside you can get sited right away. Though it might be cold they have heaters. Really not too bad.The food was absolutely delicious restroom was clean and well maintained. Would definitely come here again.

So yummy! The mole sauce is the best I’ve had. It was on the spicier side so be aware. We loved the steak medallions and actually shared them and it was the perfect late night snack. Really quality meat and great flavor. The restaurant is very clean, good music and the service was great!

Flavor sensations are here at this place!I visited several times here and every meal I ordered had full of flavors. In this photo, there are Sol agave bowl for one with steak, and non alcoholic blackberry cocktail. This is the place where you wanna drink but you don’t drink alcohol, then all cocktails can be done non alcoholic. It’s a dollar less than what it says on the drink menu though. I don’t agree with the pricing (since alcohol cost more) but there are still great flavors to enjoy.

The service was excellent. It was unfortunate for us to have to sit under a vent that blasted cold air through our entire meal. The table we sat at wobbled like a ship caught in a really bad storm. The chips and salsa were excellent and our waiter kept us well supplied, the bean dip also with the chips was excellent as well. We got the jalapeño cream soup for an appetizer and it was amazing! My wife’s pollo was excellent, but her relleno with it was under cooked and crunchy. My “famous carnitas” were not so epic. They only come with two tortillas for a mountain of unshredded pork . The thing that held this dish back the most was how dry the pork was. Even with the sour cream and salsa provided I still found myself taking a drink after every bite to wash down the meat.

Sooooo Goood! We had Fajitas de pollo & my husband had Chile ? Colorado. On the hot side he started to sweat ? but he loved it! Appetizers chips, salsa, beans. (Included with meal) and Butter Cake for dessert. And a strawberry lemonade it was delish! All was so delicious! I was so impressed with the corn tortillas! Freshly made and so soft. I even had to double check with the server that there wasn’t any flour added to them. They were so close to flour. So GF peeps you will love these. The chicken was very tender as well. And plenty of peppers and onions to go with! Sorry forgot to take a pic of the cake before we dove in! ?
