This place has a comfy down home atmosphere. They have quite a bit of seating. The waitress was nice and welcoming. I had the Country fried steak dinner with mashed potatoes. This also included choice of salad or soup. I chose the salad. I also ordered unsweetened tea. The food came fast and was fresh and hot! They also have a large selection of desserts.There is a large selection of parking. And they have handicap accessibility. It wasn't crowded for a Sunday at 3:30 PM.
Visited this place with one of the grown kids for a nice breakfast. The pancakes were a huge standout, in the fact that they were actually literally huge and they tasted great not fake. My skillet was tasty and full of excellent ingredients, with onions perfectly cooked. Eggs were nicely done too. All in all a very good experience with good customer service.
This place is amazing!! They have such a great atmosphere in the diner. Everyone’s friendly; it feels like your grandma’s house, and the food is better than your grandma’s cooking. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was ?Our waitress Jessica was amazing, she helped us feel comfortable and was always right with us when we needed her. She always noticed what we needed and got it fast. She even gave us free desert!!! Don’t tell anyone haha.
Always an enjoyable experience. It's a mom&pop pace that has become hugely popular on the weekends and holidays. Not very pricey and heaping servings.I learned about this place when I went with my Bro-In-Law, David & Sister, Stella. Dave recently passed away; now Stella and I come here to share memories. We also get an order of scones to go--I highly suggest this! Yum!Parking is tight, but you can find a neighboring parking lot close by.I give it my version of 5 stars...?????
Decided I did not want to cook dinner yesterday, so we opted to dine at Jim's Restaurant in American Fork. You can enjoy a home cooked meal from Hamburgers , sandwiches,to steak and shrimp.You can find specials for breakfast every day. Atmosphere is friendly from the the moment you come in, to the end. The waitresses and waiters are the best...Family atmosphere...I highly recommend!
Always have a good experience here ?Waiters are nice, food is generally good and homemade tasting. Love the vegetable beef soup! Just a bowl of that and a roll on a cold day will make you smile.I wish the food was hotter on the plate most visits.Atmosphere is old and musty, but clean. Needs an update for sure ?One of my fav places to go for a cozy meal!Thanks Jim's ?
This place is so good for breakfast! We came on a weekday and were seated right away by a friendly waitress. It was busy but not too busy. The restaurant was clean and had a nice family charm to it - similar to Black Bear but much better food in my opinion.We were asked what we wanted to drink and that came out just a couple minutes after ordering our drinks. The menu was big and there were a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. No matter what you're in the mood for, they have it foe breakfast! Eggs, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, and waffles. It was hard to make a decision but I went with the egg breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs (they ask how you want them prepared), hash browns, and bacon. My husband ordered the French toast combo but upgraded to strawberries and whipped cream.The food came out about 15 minutes after we ordered. Wow!!! The portions are huge! Two people could easily share... with that said, the food was delicious. It was fresh and you could feel the love put into it! The hash browns were nice and crisp on the outside, the eggs were fluffy, the bacon had amazing flavor, and the pancakes were fluffy and soft. I loved the butter and the syrup as well! The French toast was like a dessert. It was so good though for anyone who enjoys strawberries and French toast! It almost had a strawberry syrup with it too.Overall, amazing experience all around at Jim's. Definitely somewhere I would bring friends and family for breakfast when they're in town. Just be sure to come really really hungry!!
Good soup & salmon. Love the cold salad plates, but iceberg lettuce needs some variety and smaller pieces. Cucumber is good, but needs some veggie friends added. Overall Jim's is a great place to eat. Closer to home-cooking than most!
This place is nice. The food is good, the service is quick, and the environment is comfortable. They have a large selection of food. They are quick with to go orders and the quality for dine in and take out was identical. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot give them a try.
Took my parents for breakfast. Hadn't been to Jim's in ten years, it was even better than I remembered. Portions were large and definitely worth the price. Parents were impressed and we all really enjoyed our meals.
