My husband and I went here for a date. It was pretty good. I had a lettuce wrapped burger which was really good. My husband had the hot wings, but they were just a bit too vinegary for our taste and he had a shake, which he seemed to enjoy. The service was fine, the food was fast to come out, it was a bit dirty, but it could be because it was late, and still very busy!
Dined in on a busy Monday evening. Ordered the chili burger, hot wings, cheesy fries and a BBQ burger. We each got a shake as well. The shakes came first, followed by our entrees. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. The lobby was clean despite it being busy. The food was prepared well though they forgot our bacon and jalapeños we paid to be added to the cheesy fries. The shakes really aren’t shakes, they are more like a large cup of ice-cream with toppings mixed in. (There is no way you could use a straw). The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot. The only complaint is that for three people it was $65. For $20+ a head we felt it wasn’t worth it. They offer food to go and have a drive through.
When we got there, there were maybe four cars in front of us in line. Guy on the intercom would interrupt the order with questions before we even got the words out. Relevant questions, mind you, but he could’ve at least let us finish talking before he started.We ordered a BLT, a cheese fry, an ultimate fry sauce, a bacon ranch burger, a fry, and a large drink. $29, which is a price we could maybe deal with, EXCEPT:1. The bacon on the BLT was raw and cold in some parts. Can’t eat raw pork, so there goes that sandwich.2. The ultimate fry sauce wasn’t mixed. Literally just a whole, intact scoop of mayonnaise sitting in a pool of barbecue sauce. We had to mix it ourselves. I’ll add a picture of this if I can figure out how to attach one to this review on mobile. It was actually kinda comical.3. The bacon in the burger was almost undercooked, but not quite. That’s fine, but in a strange Shyamalan-esque twist, the patty was significantly over cooked. Like, all you could taste is char and grill, which tells me they’re not scraping their grill like they should. So you’ve got near-undercooked meat and significantly overcooked meat all on one sandwich.4. All of this on top of a 25 minute wait by my count.Fries were alright though. Last time I went, they just straight up didn’t give us the cheese fries, so I guess that’s an improvement? Only took ‘em seven months.Be better, JCW’s. You’ve got a shockingly loyal fan base that you’re not doing anything with.Edited to add the picture because wow.
Have you ever had cheeseburgers or chicken strips here before?! If not, you’re in luck. This is just about as good as it gets. My family and I are repeat visitors. We are from out of town, but if we are driving through, it’s a must have. I would argue your dining quality, taste, and experience here is far better than In-N-Out Burger. Loads of food to choose from. Have it your way, just about any way you want it. The staff was very friendly and quite helpful. The whole place was packed and surprisingly VERY clean. I can’t say enough good about this place. Would eat again!
I write this one month after leaving Utah to move to South Carolina: JCW’s is the world’s best burger and we miss it. We were here at least 1-2 times a month. Jalapeño bacon and avocado bacon burgers were our favorites. We would often put our kids to sleep and then get those two to go. Why is it so good? 1) Absolutely the best flavor combinations in the business 2) does not fall apart in your hand or drip profusely onto your plate.
Best Kept Secret: The hamburgers never arrive HOT, Luke warm is their best! After 5 tries I am certain they leave the meat sitting on the bun for 10 minutes before serving, Buyer beware..
When I feel like getting a burger, my first option is JCWs. The burgers are flavorful, the fries taste fresh and the shakes are amazing. I came during a rush when the drive through lane was extremely long, so I opted to go inside. All the servers and cooks were working quickly and friendly with customers. The only issues I had with this visit were: a few of the tables weren’t cleaned off and the food didn’t get delivered to the customers right away. It was made and then sat on the counter for several minutes before the server got to it.
Bianca and Ashlee were excellent in providing fantastic customer service. My order was not made as I asked, but the employees corrected the problem most outstandingly to my confident in returning to this establishment!Overall their food is very tasty and very satisfying to not over eat.I had the all American burget combo, with fries and drink! Love their lemonade!I like how their hamburgers taste and they are larger than their competitors.Well Done all!
I never eat inside, it's way too busy and chaotic all the time. I order only and 15-20 minutes my food is ready to go. Very delicious food and they never mess up my order.
This JCW in particular has always been awesome. They are quick, efficient, and the restaurant has always been clean when I've gone. The drive-thru food is always fresh and the staff is polite.You can never go wrong with the 4 Piece Chicken fingers.
