This is my family's favorite Chinese food place. We usually get takeout. The food is good and usually we are given pretty large portions.Lately, the portions have been inconsistent. I don't know if this is because their business costs have gone up or supply issues with the takeout boxes making them use different sizes than normal. But either way, the portions have changed.I do recommend eating here. Even with the portion changes, it's worth it.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience dining at China Kitchen tonight. The service was fabulous. The food, fresh and delicious.

I was dining in at China Kitchen earlier today and we ordered their House Special dinner for 2. It came with a very delicious soup that an interesting unique flavor and had some rice they put in it that sizzled for a second, two fried prawn and spring roll appetizers that were quite good, and the service getting these items to us was fast and surprisingly friendly and helpful. The meal itself consisted of the best generals chicken I have ever tasted with a well fried breaded crust and the spice was faint but there, exactly how I like my generals chicken at least, some honey walnut shrimp which they told us took a bit longer because it was hand made but it was certainly worth the wait, and some combination fried rice that had pieces of chicken, shrimp, and beef inside the rice they served us. The meal came out to be around $32 which is wonderful since we also took leftovers home that will most certainly be enough for dinner tomorrow:) But then I overheard one of the employees speaking with a customer over the phone and I thought it was quite interesting because it sounded like he had a conversation with a problematic customer and then got a second call from them since he was having almost the same conversation again. From the conversation I gathered that the customer had forgotten to apply a coupon to their order and was complaining that the free item had not been delivered (The review just before mine I presume) but I was extremely impressed with the waiter with his knowledge of the history of this restaurant when he explained that a few years ago they used to just add the free item to the order, then they discontinued this bonus for about a year and at the moment it was in place and all you had to do was enter in the coupon when you ordered but clearly the customer wasn't having it for some reason. The conversation ended with the waiter saying "Is there anything I can do for you? We can make it at any time and you can pick it up whenever you find convenient since I see you do qualify for this extra item with the coupon." And then he got hung up on. I heard no words muttered under his breath, no frustration, he simply walked up and asked if we needed any boxes of bags to go. I find it very infuriating that they then went out of their way to put a bad review that states "there was an item missing" which is not true "something tasted gross" okay, what did and what was gross about it? Also the comment about the waiter saying oh that's too bad you missed your item we can't do anything for you... that is not true, he offered to help in any way that they could. I am extremely impressed with this business with their efficiency to serve customers, remain friendly and helpful, and deal with people who feel entitled to get whatever they want from a waiter.

This used to be our favorite local place for Chinese food but it's been going downhill lately. I have never called to complain, just figure it will go back to being fine next time, but I think I'll probably never order from them again after today. Our order was around $65. Something was gross and something was missing so I called this time. Person working was like "too bad so sad it's fine if you don't want to order from us again". So I guess this is goodbye and they won't miss my weekly business.

My wife and I came here after taking a drive up to the temple from West Jordan and wanted to try a new Chinese place. We read the reviews and decided to try it. Very impressed. We walked in and the place is very clean. We were seated right away and the service was great. We waited maybe 2 minutes after ordering and had our soup served. A minute later, had our egg rolls and wontons. 5 min later, our main entrees came out. We had the Schezwan Family Dinner for 2. It came with Mongolian Beef, SS Chicken, and Ham Fried rice. It came with the other food items I mentioned previously. WOW. the SS chicken was nice and crispy, Mongolian beef had great flavor, and the rice was excellent! We were very impressed with the quality and service and will be back again if we are ever back up this way.

Every time I have to take my car to Grease and Go, I stop here for a bite to eat. The service is top notch, the atmosphere calming, and the manager very sweet. I would recommend this restaurant for date night or nights spent with family if you enjoy good food and a lo-fi atmosphere. Be sure to try the salty pepper fish and ask for Clark as your server.

Walked in and ordered take-out at 6:00 on the dot. Cashier said it would be a few minutes, and that I could take a seat to wait. Waited 40 minutes, finally inquired (they were busy and short handed). The cashier said, oh, is this your food here? — pointing to food on the first table. Sure enough, it had been sitting there for half an hour, cold. Didn’t offer an apology, didn’t offer to refresh or even reheat the food. Other people waiting at home for food, made me take the cold food.

The last two time I bought the Chinese food from here, the food tasted terrible and worst then before. They must change to different cook. I threw away the food and wasted my money. I will never return to buy food from here anymore.

It's pretty hole-in-the-wall but it's got some of the best Chinese food in the valley

This is my favorite Chinese place in Utah Valley. Owned by a Chinese immigrant who frequently runs the register. Before my office moved, I ordered once a week and she knew my voice & order when I called.
