Horrible luncheon special of mango chicken. Ingredients included mostly big chunenks of onion in a ketchup-like sauce with teeny pieces of mango and little pieces of chicken. I thought the sauce would be similar to orange sauce. Decent fried rice, though. Disappointing meal! If this were my first time at China Isle, I would never return.
This used to be one of our favorite places to eat when we lived close by. We had s chance to stop in as we passed by. I really like the mango shrimp lunch special. It comes with egg drop soup and a spring roll. Their other menu items are good as well.
Arrived to pick up the order 5 minutes ahead of the time promised for the order to be ready. One hour and twelve minutes after said promise time I finally received the Order.(There was two people eating I. The restaurant and 2 people picking up orders when I arrived. The place never once appeared busy)After spending over an hour watching the man behind the counter being very rude to every customer he spoke with. And examining the amount of food served vs the price of said food....You will not convince me to return to this establishment. The food is extremely overpriced, the staff is rude. And If I wanted to wait three times longer than it takes to prepare wantons and cook them from scratch I would do it at home....Overall I would recommend McDonald's over this establishment.
Our date night dinner was so delicious here! Everything we got was very tasty, it's one of our favorite Chinese restaurants. You get a decent amount of yummy food for reasonable prices. We love the walnut shrimp and sesame chicken. The restaurant is very clean and they are fast! The service was great, not overly friendly, but kind and attentive. Definitely worth a try!
2 bathrooms that hold 1 person each. Auto paper towels. Toilet seat covers. Soap on the sink.Need to source their fortune cookies from somewhere else. We got 5 of them. 2 had the same fortune. Another 2 had the same fortune. The last one said "What does you future hodl". Spelling error included. Shouldn't my fortune cookie be telling me my future instead of asking me?
We've eaten here twice and we love it. The lunch specials are a lot of food for a really great price. Sometimes we share a lunch. But the fried ice cream is our favorite. It's like a soft crunchy pillow of a donut covering ice cream inside and it is delicious!
This place is great. Their online ordering option is both user friendly and accurate. My large takeout order was ready just when it said it would be. Great veggie options too and the sweet & sour soup is next level.
Service was excellent. Didn’t really care for the food.
What can I say? It's a regular place for my wife and I. It's Chinese food and culture, so don't expect the warmness and worship that us Americans have become accustomed to when going out to eat. You come if you want prompt service and good food. My wife and I like to be left alone when we eat, so its nice that this place exists for us. Since it makes its bulk of profits (I assume) on take-out, the place is nice and quiet often times.I know it's easy to be put off by the, shall we say, pithy responses by the employees, but I promise they don't hate your guts. If there is something wrong with your order, they'll fix it. Probably not gladly, but they'll fix it. The servers there are also better at english than a lot of other Chinese places I've been to.
Great food. The vegetable fried rice and the pepper steak was delicious, we got it to go and the portions are generous, it fed my husband and I with a small amount leftover. I would say each entree/fried rice could feed 3 adults with regular portions. The lettuce wraps were a lot different from what I’ve had at other places and I wasn’t a fan of the sliced chicken and the sweet sauce, but my husband enjoyed it.
