They, meaning the draper Apollo burger, screwed up the order right from the start. We asked for a plain jr. cheeseburger and they added Apollo sauce we pointed that out and she got an attitude!! We got a large Oreo shake and she handed out a shake that looked like someone had eaten half of it. I asked for my money back and she huffingly did it. The fry sauce we asked for was not with our order. We asked for the fry sauce and she acted like she had to go make it. I asked for another like we asked for when we ordered and she said you only get this for what you ordered. Needless to say it was a horrible experience. I have worked fast food myself and that ornery woman should not be working with the public. She was rude and acted like everything was such an inconvenience. Maybe she was having a bad day but nobody should be treated the way she treated us.
As far as mid-price burger places go, this is one we like pretty well! The burgers are fairly sized and priced for the quality. We especially like their fries. The shakes aren’t as good as other places, so I’ll ding them a star for that, but overall it’s a good option.
Stopped by the new Apollo burger in American Fork. They were fast and efficient with taking our order, payment, and handing out the food. There was no line in the drive thru when we went about 4pm. The food was excellent and nicely placed in the box. We will definitely be back again.
I had Strawberry Shake and I believe it was called the Utah Burger. It had 4 meats on it. Hamburger, Bacon, Pastrami and Gyro meat with Cheese. Very good, one of the better Burgers I've had in a while. The Shake was good too. I'll definitely will go back.
This location needs help. Manager/owner please reprioritize cleanliness and a cheerful staff, let alone the food. I’ve been an Apollo fan for years in SLC locations and was always impressed both with the quality of the food and with the clean restaurant. I finally visited the AF location 5/11 6:40. The cashier was stoic and indifferent, but the real issue was every table and booth was dirty. There was catchup and fry sauce drips all around the dispensers. Fries were hot but overdone like they’d been “freshened” after sitting around. Western burger was lukewarm and the bun was noticeably cold to the touch. I’ll try one more time before giving up and will update this review if things improve.
Lots of bad reviews but my experience was mostly good. I went a little later on a weekday. I knew it wouldn't be busy during this time but was a bit worried about freshness. I had to go inside because I was towing a trailer. First impression wasn't great. The cashier was a low talker. She seemed nice but couldn't hear anything she said.Ordered the Apollo burger. Not sure why you would order anything different but it was very good. Better than I remember it being. The soft bun really sent it over the top.Ordered sweet potato fries that were about average. The worst part was the watered down soda. Would give 5 stars if it wasn't for their soda. These restaurants should see how popular sodas and these drive thru soda shops are in Utah.Restaurants like this need to step up their soda game.I would be likely to return more often if I could get a great burger and a good soda at the same place.I'll be back but only for the burger. Thanks.
Cashier was so nice and patient with me. I didn’t know what to get, she was extremely friendly and personable. (Meme was her name) she made a few suggestions and I ended up going for the Utah burger! I was hesitant because a lot of the reviews on here say the food gets cold. But I’m curious if they were dining in or taking it home in 24 degree weather…. Of course your foods going to get cold in that temp! We for sure had a 5 star experience! Will be back for more!!
I have going to the Rose Park Apollo for several. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. I recommend going to Apollo to everyone I meet! Love this place!
Fries was cold after waiting 15 minutes after ordering while we were first in line. They forgot our onion rings (which is $5 after taxes). We called cause there was a line of cars still in the drive thru and the guy who answered the phone said they are kinda busy right now and we have to go back through the drive thru. My husband asked for his burger while we were waiting on the line and his burger was a complete plain burger when we ordered the Apollo burger. So waiting another 25 minutes to get the onion rings we told the guy at the window that the burger was plain. We showed him and the guy literally grabbed the burger with his bare hands and started showing us there was meat on there. We keep telling him there is no pastrami meat in there how is that a Apollo burger. He then said he would go out some on it for us. LIKE UM NO THATS NOT OKAY!! We waiting at the window another 5 minutes and he gave us the sandwich. Not so impressed with paying $45 and eating cold food that’s bare hands have touched. We got home. I pulled my burger out (was supposed to be a double cheese burger with bacon added, had to pay extra for the bacon) it’s a 1 paddy with 2 bacon thrown on there. We so disappointed and highly DONT RECOMMEND!!!!
Only giving one star because I have to in order to leave a review. We came at 11:00am, so food should have been hot and fresh. The burgers weren’t any better than a $1 Burger King whopper. Fries were crunchy in the middle and the pastrami was cold. Total waste of $22. Don’t waste your time or money. Drive 5 more minutes and go to JCWs
