This was my first time here. The food was great I really like the salmon.It was large and tasty. The guy up front was nice. It was almost the perfect night, but found a piece of what looked like a small plastic zip tie lock at the bottom of my glass. Showed it to the guy up front.I had no idea where it came from. I didn’t make a big deal or want to be to harsh because the food and service were so good. It’s probably just incidental. I would love to give this place 5 stars and come back, but a little quality reassurance would be nice.
First off the person taking our orders at the counter had an absolutely horrible attitude. After we ordered, things came out of the kitchen one by one, to the point that my wife finished her food before mine even came out.The hush puppies had no flavor. The salmon plate had no flavor, the rice was a joke, not even salt. The fired pickles were good as well as the shrimp. Those two are the only reason I’m not giving it 1 star.They have a lot of things to figure out, like flavor of their food before I try it again.
First thing that I want to say is that Mimi is a fantastic, friendly and professional hostess! She was so pleasant and kind and provided my wife and I superlative service with a smile, which sadly can be very difficult to find these days!Also, there manager Chico that was there that night from their store on Central Expressway in Richardson is equally as talented and cordial as Mimi.I had the Grilled Shrimp Platter w/Steamed Veggies and Rice and a cup of their Shrimp Gumbo and it was fantastic! My Lovely Wife had the Catfish Basket and she really enjoyed it as well.. We will definitely be patronizing their establishment again soon!Highly recommended!Thanks guys.Good Eats everyone..
The food was great and workers so ready to serve. some of the best oysters I've had in a while but who the hell broke up all the crackers???
First time there and wow was it packed around 6. Got the grilled salmon and it was very good. However the other 2 plates we got were not so good. The fish tacos were pretty plain and kinda burnt. Would not order that again. The catfish was decent but may not order that again. Since the salmon was good and portions were semi big I'd give it another try.

Pretty good food. The lunch rush didn't hurt them at all because our food came out pretty fast. I'm a grilled oysters type of guy and they were good. The fried oysters and shrimp were very flavorful.Very clean place and the customer service was good. Great job.
Service was great! Food was prepared and served quickly. Fish and Shrimp combo was hot and tasty but could have used a little more seasoning. Overall, great experience.
We eat here about once a week and are never disappointed. The food quality is great and the service is always friendly and efficient. I love the Tilapia Trio and the veggies are always grilled and seasoned perfectly to compliment the delicious fish, shrimp, and crab meat! My husband prefers the fried baskets and I always ask for a bite!
I really like Fish n Tails. It's the only seafood place in town. The food is good. The portion sizes are pretty good. ICE cold beer... EXCELLENT!! Spicy Shrimp cocktail is the best. My only compliant is their hushpuppies. They suck!! Too dense. Too doughy. No flavor. Don't know who came up with the recipe for the hushpuppies but they need to find a better one.
