We went back to Fish n' Tails after quite awhile because of the COVID restrictions and have to say, they STILL can't get their act together ! Besides the completely useless and un-enforced mask regulations being abused by ignorant and selfish patrons, they can't bring out more than one order at a time. We ordered 2 entrées and when the first order came out, it was completely wrong. I sent it back with a a look of total disbelief and confusion on the face of the waitress. Second order came out about 15 minutes later and finally got the corrected order 15 minutes after the second order!! The food is pretty good once you finally get it and pray it's correct but after over 2 years now, this place can't seem to bring out 2 orders at the same time to save their lives. Poor servers and ineptness run rampant here. A "serve yourself" condiment bar would be very appreciated. Save the misery and visit the restaurants in either Plano or Richardson and you'll have a MUCH BETTER dining experience.
What a great find! We ate here several times while visiting the area. Lunch specials are a very good value. Gumbo is loaded with shrimp. Oysters were always fresh. Service is great. Only complaint is that all fried seafood - catfish, oysters etc are coated in cornmeal. A batter fried offering would be a welcome addition.
But, can't get their act together! We LOVE the Fish n' Tails in Richardson and Plano and when we saw they opened up a very much needed seafood restaurant in Wylie, we were all over it. Being a new place and open for awhile now, you'd think they would finally have streamlined themselves and gotten their act together. They haven't. It's impossible to get 2 orders delivered at the same time! Typical time between 2 orders given at the same time, to the same people, was about 15 minute intervals. This is by far, not the only occurrence as we've been here about 5 times. We've even asked at ordering if they could bring out both dishes at the same time. Of course, they said "sure thing" and of course, they didn't. The food is pretty good here as well as the other locations but, the service here is horrific. MAYBE someday, they can pull it together and get their act straight. Someday but not as of yet.
I almost never write reviews but best grilled oysters ever! Happy hour half shells a steal too.

Walk up and order get you number , they will take it to the table. Serves all drinks , Food tastes great , Enough food for the price. A slight slant to Cajun style. Seating is roomy, parking is ok. Good for handicapped. The only downer , tends to be loud, because there is nothing to absorb sound.
Nice place, more so than expected. The shrimp po boy and jambalaya are are pretty good. This was a first time visit so that’s all I’ve tried.
Amazing food and drinks. Super fresh and the bartender is really nice and helpful.
Our first time @ FnT'sOB Oysters were fresh and had all the details the bartender Fransisco was personable, friendly and super helpful. Margaritas were perfect but Fransisco is ready to make any specialty drink. Nayalie who also works @FnT'sOB was super friendly and just a great experience.
