A good spot for fried catfish and shrimp. The inside was nice and clean and the service was good. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Once you are done you go back up to the counter to pay.The plates were large portions and they had either seafood or Mexican dishes. I will say that the catfish wasn't very seasoned but good. The reviews said to order the hushpuppies and we did. However, they were dense, not a lot of flavor and a little too greasy. Not sure if we caught them on an off day but we will go back to try their Mexican food.

This restaurant in Wylie is big, clean, fast service and food well served and delicious, and absolutely ? recommended.

Everything was delicious. Was great place to take our kids. Great, helpful, friendly staff.

Food was good and breading was very tasty. We ordered catfish, shrimp, and hushpuppies. The hushpuppies were some of the best I’ve had.

We went and tried Del Gulfo for the first time since moving to this area. We got the platter for 2 plain ,since they only had plain and spicy, and added 1lb of shrimp - thankfully we did because it would not have been enough for two people. We were in the restaurant for about 40 minutes and was not approached once, after receiving our food, to see if we wanted refills or if everything was okay.Seafood was decent and the crab was easy to open without cracking, however we probably will not be returning.

The service was very good for the big group that attended. As the food was ready it was brought to the table. The cat fish was very good.

Catfish sandwich was ok. I just cant get excited about a Mexican food place that you have to pay for chips and salsa.

My husband had catfish and I had oysters. Also had the ceviche. Liked the food so well brought 13 more people with us the next night. It's a gem with very reasonable prices.

First time, highly recommend. I had catfish filets. Joan had Salmon. Nice and clean venue for freshwater and ocean fish.

The Del Golfo Soup was good with varied sizes of shrimp, oysters, some octopus and a filet of fish. Not enough tomatoes and could have been a little thicker. The Gumbo didn't have the classic Cajun spices since this serving was "comida a la mariscos" in content. The fried shrimp was tenderly fried to permit the freshness to excite the palate with each bite. The service was excellent.
