Margaritas are 5/5! Great variety of flavors and pretty strong. Good food. Great service! Only complaint is tacos are kinda small. But good first experience and definitely will be back!
Server was ok. Was at the Restaurant for a total of 2 hours. Probably took about an hour just to place and order and about 45 minutes to get our food. After receiving our food it was cold and didn't taste good , we had ordered a plate to go bit said we didn't want anymore due to the fact we barely touched our food , tostadas were soggy , fajita flour tortillas were hard , rice was crispy , so we said we didn't want it. Im assuming the manager on the shift cMe to ask , we told her we didn't want the to go order because of the way our food tasted, and she was really angry got an attitude and instead of apologizing for the food she walked off angry. I told her we aren't trying to get out of paying for this food brought to the table we just didn't want the food that's been sitting back there since we ordered our food. she didnt want to try to understand. With the prices we paid we expected way better food.
JUNE 11, 2011 SATURDAY 3PM MY WIFE AND I WENT THERE FOR A FRIEND'S RETIREMENT PARTY. WE HAD A ROOM FOR OUR GROUP. THE STAFF GAVE EXCELLENT SERVICE TO EVERYONE. WE ORDERED BY 4PM AND GOT THE LUNCH PRICE. MY WIFE ENJOYED THE QUESADILLAS AND HAD EXTRA TO TAKE HOME. I HAD THE TAMALE PLATE WITH RICE AND BEANS. WE WILL STOP BY AGAIN. THERE IS PLENTY OF PARKING SPACE TOO. THE PLACE IS NOT NOISY FOR A COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE.
Stopped here for dinner on a Monday night, it was just okay for me. The service was totally outstanding!!! The atmosphere is what I expected for a Mexican restaurant. Did not try the cocktails. Menu is somewhat limited compared to other Mexican restaurants. I ordered a chimichanga but it was definitely not deep fried, came as a burrito. It was just meh. The salsa was not to my liking with a slightly bitter taste. If I go back, it’s because of the awesome service.

Very great service. Sergio our waiter was more then caring and made sure my family and friend was happy and taken care of. Great food also, my daughter even actually ate up every bite!
Everything was great, food, service and staff. we went last Saturday and they were packed so we assumed it would take a little while but they were still fast and friendly and the food was great!

I was tempted by this restaurant's website, and the pictures told the entire story. They convinced me to check this place out. So, heading back to Dallas from Amarillo, I made my stop at Wichita Falls and Vaca Loca. It had become time to try it. Whoa, nellyyyyy! This Mexican food eatery deserves to be a local favorite, and I took to the menu. My lunch consisted of a beef enchilada with chili sauce, chicken flauta, and a soft beef taco. This place has some of the best and most flavorful ground beef I've ever had. The rice on the side had just the right flavor, and the peas and carrots were a great touch. This lunch also included refried beans. Perfect! Texture and flavor were spot on. Prior to the meal, their tortilla chips were just right and had a delicate crispness. Combined with an order of a small queso in a cup. It was mild, but it worked very well with the chips. Their hot sauce actually was good, too, even though it consisted of numerous assorted peppers and not tomatoes. Service was timely and friendly, and it's not a bad-looking place. With a cold glass of iced tea, this meal was one for the ages. I'd order this again if it were still lunchtime. Considering all items were very good and done right, I'd have to have them separately at a future visit just to have more of them. That's how good they were. This place is a gem. Don't miss this place! And it's a reasonable price. And regarding the pictures I saw on Vaca Loca's website, they turned out to be a delicious story!
