Food and service was great. Awesome specials for reasonable prices. A most try.
The food here is ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! I haven't had better BBQ anywhere!! Everyone likes different places, but for my family and myself, this place is where it's at!! Staff is always so friendly and nice!! My oldest son had the chopped BBQ sandwich and it's pretty good size and is awesome! My husband had the 2 meat plate with ribs and brisket with a side of Mashed potatoes and okra. It was phenomenal!! Their toast is SUPERB!! I had the 2 meat playe as well. Sausage with sliced brisket. Their brisket....OMG!! is wonderful!! Their BBQ sauce is fantastic!! My middle son had a cheeseburger and he said it was delicious! My daughter had the grilled cheese and she ate it all!! Must have been pretty good cause she never eats all of much!! This is my go-to BBQ restaurant!!!!
This is the second time we have eaten at Texas Best BBQ. First time was a chopped brisket sandwich and it was a 3 out of 5 at best. Tonight we picked up brisket plate with potato salad and beans. It was a 2 out of 5. Brisket was tough and seemed over cooked. Possibly too high temp and too fast. But not very good. Beans were inedible because of overly vinegar flavor. Probably canned with additions. The one good thing was the potato salad. It was a 4 out of 5. It was good. I ate here 4 or 5 years ago and it really was the best. They must have changed ownership cause it isn’t good. I was really hoping for a good bbq dinner. ?
Food is just ok. Portions are small for the price. On top of that they added for using a debito card and added a tip in. As slow and rude as those employees are the dont deserve a tip.
This dining place is next door to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Certainly glad we arrived when we did as there was a crowd that arrived right as we completed our order. Great western decor, friendly customer service and the food was pretty good as well. Will be trying it out again when we visit WF next.
We ate there today and got the chicken fried steak special and it was $12.99. The exact price as the menu. Could you tell what was so special about it ? One worker was planting flowers and one was only taking orders. The only thing special about our meals is we had to go get it and by then it was cold. Not impressed. Sorry.....
I would give more then 5 stars it was real great eatting the staff was very greater the food what to make you slap the ex when you get to the house lol
On our way from New Mexico to Houston. 2nd time we have made this our RON. And walked over for supper after a long day on the road. Friendly and helpful staff. The Turkey melts in your mouth. Brisket is excellent. And they have fried okra. It is also excellent. Highly recommend.
Good barbecue and sides, but could have been warmer. No alcohol.
The service was nice and friendly. The food was delicious and not really expensive either.
