A trip to the falls is always a guarantee since we have family in the area, but visiting this place was a pleasant surprise. The food was absolutely beyond delicious, and the cocktails were refreshing! Our waiter was courteous, knowledgeable, and so very quick! He took really great care of us, a large group of 8!
Sadly there are very few high quality Tex Mex restaurants in Wichita Falls and Fiesta must be near the bottom of that list. I remember the restaurant when it was Zocalo and it reopened recently to a lot of buzz. However the fajitas are basically wide cut meat pretending to be jerky. I had a hard time chewing each piece let alone swallowing it. The frijoles were like soup with some sausage slices and very little beans.If you try your own menu and think awful is good, perhaps you shouldn’t be in the restaurant business. If you aren’t being told the truth about your menu quality, I feel sorry for you. WF has a problem with lowered expectations because instead of supporting a business, we support poorly executed hobbies.Fiesta, sample your menu every night. Then you’ll know what to do. If you aren’t good cooking fajitas, take them off the menu. Soggy tacos aren’t a thing, take them off the menu. Serve only what you are good at cooking then you may find some success.
We stopped here because it was close to our hotel and we were very pleased with our choice. We especially enjoyed the queso and chips and the sour cream enchiladas. Service was great and our food arrived quickly.
Absolutely terrible dining experience. To start out with it took the bartender almost an hour, and two tries to make a strawberry margarita how I requested, and still wasn’t correct but I just gave up. We then ordered our food and I received my beef fajitas. I am not a picky person, and I cannot remember the last time I sent something back or actually asked for it to be taken off because it was to bad to eat. These fajitas were completely cold, so chewy that they were almost unedible, and tasted disgusting, like day old sitting out beef. I’m just hoping I do not get food poisoning tomorrow. I then kindly requested if the waitress could see if she could do anything about the meal, because I will be going home and stopping at a fast food restaurant on the way because I couldn’t eat the food I was given. She walked away and came back with $7 off of my meal, they wouldn’t even comp the meal! I have never had such a bad experience, it was so bad I decided that I had to take time out of my day to write this review so other people don’t have to experience what I went through.
Worst service ever!!! Was sitting down waiting to be helped for 15 mins, no drinks were offered or anything! Asked one of the guys that cleans the tables if we were going to be helped and he went and asked around to see who our waitress was. The girl he asked said no one was doing our table and then he had to go to a group of them that were just hanging out at the bar to come help us. Truly disappointed since we had been here a couple of times
Commercial on tv and on website said happy hour from 2-6 everyday. We went and drank all afternoon and our tab was $70 because they don’t do happy hour anymore. WTH. $6 beers. How can it be on the website and commercial but they said they stopped that January 1. we love the place but it lost our business.
The local commercial for this locations restaurant explicitly says “happy hour 2 - 6”, but when I asked about happy hour drinks yesterday, my waiter said there was no happy hour. I arrived at 3.
This place was a great choice. Their service was extremely prompt. From order to table it was 5 minutes for a full plate of fajitas. The portion size is huge for the price. I had leftovers. I never have leftovers.However, the thing that made it 4 stars and not 5 was the lack of seasoning and flavor on the fajita meat. It lacked anything it seemed like. So it was just grilled chicken and steak without any oomph. If they were able to add in a little more seasoning it would have stolen my heart.Also. The flan is excellent!
Our server was amazing! That's the only good thing about it... Bar drinks took forever to be made and were so strong my wife couldn't even drink hers. Food was barely warm. I understand being busy but tonight be they missed the mark. Need another bartender on busy nights and possibly someone to expedite food coming out kitchen.
