Me and a coworker decided to have dinner here tonight. We both ordered the fish and chips. We were then told they only have enough fish to make one order of fish. Part of the fish and chips order was you could get a mystery beer for $3. I received a Truly. I spoke to the manager and told her that a Truly is a seltzer not a beer. She told me it is one of their craft beers.I won’t spend my money here any more.
Food was okay . Service started good when we walked in. But once we were seated on the patio it was all downhill .We had a blonde waitress( that looked like she just crawled out of bed) that we literally had to flag down to ask for a refill of water , to order , ask for ketchup napkins and straw . Which was already open and broken . Every time she did come outside she waited on her other tables without even checking on us several times . Ps the Bp slaw was disgusting. Taste like dirty cabbage dipped in sweat . Chips and salsa was good . We ordered the urban cowboy and the pulled pork that were good too , but is normally better .
I placed a pick up order so when I got there, they had the food packaged and ready for us and I thought how nice and convenient. Well I should have checked my food (always check & that's for any food joint). When I got home the food was cold even though I got there in the 20 minutes they said it would be ready. The worst part was that one of the things I ordered was Loaded Cheese Fries, but they gave me NO Cheese, NONE! My husband was very upset (it was for him) luckily I have Shredded Cheese at home and was able to add some but I paid for a dish and they served it incompletely, no cheese on a Cheese dish, way to go. The rest of the food was okay after we heated it back up.
Our waitress didn’t even bring us napkins, much less plates with our chips and queso, and then our food came - cold and not what we ordered AND we had to wait and track our waitress down to get silverware so that we could eat our dinner! Very disappointed.
Really good food. Lots of sports on the TV's. Usually a good-sized crowd. Lots of regulars, and that always says a lot. Beer is cold and staff is well above average. Good drink specials when local sports teams are playing. Never had a bad meal.
Our waitress this evening was Mani and she was terrific! We always enjoy our meals here. Mac cheese sticks, Nachos, Chicken Philly were delicious. Thank you
The many times I have been, busy or not, the service is terrible. The last very last time I went in, and decided I would never go back. I took a friend in and my boyfriend. Keeping in mind, we went around 11:30 before the church crowd on a Sunday. We were seated, no one came around for 15 minutes or, that should have been our hint to leave then. We got our drinks in a timely manner once we got to order them and our food. Once our orders were placed, the waitress did not return to our table once. All of our drinks were completely empty by the time our food arrived. Then we got our food, it was absolutely terrible! Mine was barely warm, with a couple pieces grizzled meat on my nachos. My boyfriend had tacos, the beans were a joke! They were supposed to have beer in them, I understand that. The alcohol was not cooked out of the beans. My other friend I brought with me, she said her food was cold too and not worth eating. I asked for the manger who then proceeded to argue with all of us about our meals and repeatedly told us we were WRONG because our meals were cold and they were not busy that day. BackPorch used to be my most favorite restaurant in town. They are just a sometimes restaurant now. The manager needs some work in her professionalism. I haven’t been back, and I would not recommend it to any of my friends from out of town. If they want BackPorch, go to Lawton.
Excellent service!!! Jalapeno Popper Burger was tasty... Hawaiian Burger very good! And the turkey bacon wrap also good. The sweet potato fries were a huge hit...thank you for mentioning them ? The Lazy Magnolia beers were just what we needed!! Thank you Back Porch Drafthouse...we hope to return one day!!!
Back porch Drafthouse is a great place to eat! Always good food choices and delicious! Quiet atmosphere and excellent staff! Some entry window cleaning would help though!
Food, drinks and service were all fabulous! I got the legend burger and it was wonderful. Their jalepeno ketchup is phenomenal.
