Slow start with waitress … but she did very good!Food is so tasty and fresh ingredients are a big plus!We had the Nanas board and hot dog feature for 4th of July !!Should be part of their regular menu ! Delicious!
This place is beautiful. The food was delicious and our service was great. We went for lunch. The food came out quick.We had to try their famous Lonches. They were as good as we heard. We got the Al Pastor combo which comes with a loaded baked potato. The bread was amazing and the toppings were fresh and delicious.I also had the birria tacos which were awesome. Our meals came with a bean soup which had amazing flavor.Nana's is a must visit when you're in Weslaco.
Absolutely amazing service! Mariana made it so easy on us. I wanted a smaller portion and she suggested the perfect portioned plate. Never a no to our questions! Recently ate at Nana’s with my family and I was served by David who was extremely helpful in the ordering process and recommended some great drinks. Truly a great experience overall and can’t wait to go again.
Yummy, what a beautiful and fabulous establishment, great food , great vibes. We sat outside, but there is indoor seating , I kinda wanted to go inside just to check out this gem and snap some photos ...next time. I recommended it to our family who is local to the area . Would love to go back for dinner or night time scene to see the the mariche bands
Our friends had their wedding reception at this quaint unique place. They were able to create vegan fare for the guests, and it was delicious! The decor is amazing. This is some place I will bring all my visitors to South Texas.
Got seated quickly and service started out strong. After we got our food we didn’t see our server again and had to go to the bar to check out. Most of the outdoor seating isn’t covered so if you’re coming here on a sunny day - be prepared, or sit inside. Dishes are reasonably priced. We ordered a beerita and this is what we got. I’ve never seen a worse presentation to a drink than this.
I've been here a couple of times. The ambience is great for get togethers and the food is good and prices are okay.I love their come up though because I remember when they were just a small family restaurant and now the place is great for Instagram pics too.The only complaint I have is it took a while for a server to notice us and they began helping another family that got there after we sat down, but they made up for it with customer service and checking on us after. Awesome gift shop items too, but that area is somewhat expensive. Great place to go if you're feeling nostalgic about the tacos and lonches estilo Progresso.
seated right away, ordered something to share, the chicken enchilada with 3 sauces, rice and a slice of grilled beef! Excellent choice, chicken very flavorful, and beef very tender! And more than enough for two. Our server, Joanna, was spot on and very informative. We will definitely be back.
A nice place to eat outside, which we opt. They do have some nice seating inside too. I ordered the combo, tacos and a potato. The beef tacos were great tasting, came with shredded cabbage, cilantro and a tomato sliver. The potato was over cooked, like it had been sitting in the oven for several hours. The outdoor ambiance was great plus it was Friday evening with Marachi group playing. The wait staff was nice but very busy, had to ask for some kind of sauce for the tacos. Daughter had green enchiladas, which were okay.
