* This IHOP is in serious need of a good scrubbing and remodeling. They were very busy with a 15 minute wait for seating around 1:00 pm. The first place where we got seated had issues with the bench seating, (broken springs, so we moved).* Their TV commercials are a bit deceptive...they offer 6.99 specials and such to leave the impression that the place is economical...not so. * A party of 2 was $30+ with the tip.One had 55+ plus discount breakfast, the other had a sandwich with fries. No desserts or extras. Oops.* The service was exceptional. The young lady was very efficient and there when we needed something. We left her a good tip.

Restaurant was extremely cold low 60s food was cold and Luke warm very disappointed in this IHOP when it's in the low 50s out side turn the heat on I was a chef do you know what a heat lamp is or how to expedite the foo so it comes out hot the main office needs to come and retrain this restaurant the waitress was great professional . The food wasn't her fault either was the the temp of the restaurant fix these things and might be back.

Late last night around 4:00am I had a server by the name of precise he such a wonderful tall young man everyte we called him he had the biggest snile on earth if u guys want the best dining experience request precise he works Friday nights.P.s. Precise when u see this I want u to know it was amazing u really are the best at ihop like u say.
Normally one of my faves although this time it was about mid morning. Hardly any customers on mid week and a group of 9 comes in and I with my order getting to me one bit at a time, get forgotten. I guess if you order coffee, don't want a refill to that little cup. Waitress never even came by to see if we needed anything. If their cutting staffing down then they should concentrate on excellent customer service. Neither happened.
Awesome service. Arnold was my server and he did an excellent job. He went above and beyond and was very attentive and very professional. I definitely will be going back and asking for him when I come back into town. Thank you Ihop for hiring an excellent gentleman and thank you Arnold.
I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings. I ordered hot chocolate and it had grease/oils bubbles at the top, kinda like a soup. Then we had some pancakes. Great! Love those. Added some syrup but not enough, so we went back for more and saw a hair, a human hair STUCK on the opening where the syrup pours out. Aside from that, the restaurant is constantly dirty and sticky. This restaurant really needs to be shut down for like a week to be deep cleaned.
I ordered a curbside, they never showed up with my food even when I updated them that I am here. I waited for about 10 mins, then went in myself to pick up the order. Food was cold. I ordered some crepes, it was not even close to be called a crepe. Definitely not going again.
Service is horrible every time my wife and I go. They seat us and don’t give us menus until we have been sitting there for 30 minutes. No body comes by to ask us if we’ve been helped, if we want something to drink, or to even gives us menus. There have been times that I have looked for a server that can help us and they’re all just joking around behind the diner counter. It’s ridiculous. Food is great…. When we’ve had a chance to order. Please do yourself the favor and skip visiting IHOP in Weslaco. Came to Denny’s and noticed a huge difference.
