Went for my mom's Bday. She likes cabrito. I had a plate with fajita rolled around Oaxaca cheese. Rice and beans standard. The store itself is a nice looking very spacious environment. Staff was all well groomed with masks on. Only issue was the menu was dirty with salsa. As for the food. My mother found the cabrito dry. We both had the charro beans but she found hers sour and didn't care for them thinking they were old. I also tasted a slight sour taste but thought it might be from lime or the tomato. Nobody felt ill after to clarify. As for my meal, I thought the fajita was tasty and tender and the rice fluffy and flavourful. That being said the portion of protein was not as big as what the price might suggest, They gave my mom a slice of NY cheesecake for her bday. No complaints. I had a piece of tres leches cake and thought it was not only tasty but a generous portion. Overall my score says it all. It was an okay experience. For the price and reputation I wanted to be blown away but found it to be a decent experience with some problems.

What a nice surprise this place is. Was staying in Weslaco for business and found this next to the hotel. You can order online and they will deliver to your hotel, but it was so close I just walked over there. Friendly staff and the food was great.

The one is Mexico is amazing but for some odd reason this place is horrible! Super expensive and not worth the price. The beans taste like they came out of the can and so does the rice. I give it one star cause the staff is amazing and very attentive!

Terrific selection of high quality delicious fare. Excellent service. I had shrimp tacos and they were perfect- coworker had the frog legs and got a massive portion. Very prompt and attentive service- sign on the door said they were understaffed but our server was a rock star.

best Mexican food I've had in a long time great drinks great service nice atmosphere went there for my birthday and it was awesome

The atmosphere was good - clean, new place. Service was great! One bad thing - the salsas with the chips. Green was a bit spicy for me, and the red was nothing but stewed tomatoes that had been thru the blender. So I combined the two and then it was pretty good! I had a ground beef chimi, my friend had a fajita chimi. Both were really good, large. For some reason I didn't get beans on mine, but that was OK with me. The server indicated my chimi was made "just for you!", because ground beef was not usual. I tried my friends fajita meat, tender and great flavor!

The cabrito was pretty expensive but it was somewhat disappointing. I did get a ton of grilled onions.

Service was excellent. Food was mediocre at best. Milanesa was a bit overcooked and tasted like oil. Chicken chalupa plate my wife had was horrible. The chicken was either over boiled or was can chicken. My brother had a Mexican variety plate he said was OK but the rice was not good at all. I was super excited to try this place and glad I got it out of my system. Pretty sure we won't be back.

Best draft beer ?. Excellent service

Have been wanting to go here for a very long time. It definitely was worth the wait, it was delicious and the staff was excellent. A great experience and time. We will definitely be back even though it’s a good drive away.
