One of the nicest and more authentic Mexican restaurant in the Clear Lake Area. Service is good, food is better than good however their portions are very small and that’s a drawback (with my breakfast I got two small eggs with 7 small dice potatoes, refried beans and 2 small tortillas for 5.99 NOT BACON). Another thing is that they don’t offer free water (like filter water) and their drink prices are out of this world (Orange juice drink was right at $6) so today for for breakfast I spent nearly 15 dollars, mind you with no meat!! That is way too much…thus the 3 stars review.
Service was fast and friendly. 6 street tacos for $10.25. Fair price and good portions. Al Pastor was my favorite, and was saucy and had really good flavor. Barbacoa was lean and had authentic barbacoa flavor. Beef fajita was OK but a bit dry. Green salsa was creamy with cilantro notes. Red sauce had a fresh garden flavor. You could probably drink this stuff as a veggie juice. Charro beans was firm yet soft, not mushy, and loaded with toppings. This could a main dish by itself. Overall, the food had a fresh homemade taste and seasoned just right. Not too spicy, salty, or greasy. Give this humble taqueria a try.
First off, staff is very friendly walking in the door! Staff is very attentive as well. The chips and their green avocado salsa is Delicious ?. So, I knew, that the food would be ? ?. Did not disappoint! Everything was Delicious! More Authentic than places near by. I recommend everyone to try. I just moved into the city, and have tried a few place, and I must say, this is one of my favorites so far.
Wow this was some of the best Mexican I’ve ever had. The green sauce for the chips is so delicious. Then we got tacos al carbon. Everything was so authentic, fresh, and full of flavor! I’ll be thinking about those charro beans!

I'm very picky about my Mexican food. This place is not only super reasonably priced... But it's absolutely delicious. Very authentic and the staff is great! This will be my new Mexican place for sure!
Food was delicious. I had the menudo, my husband had the barbacoa tacos and my daughter the breakfast torta. Monserrat our waitress was so friendly and attentive, great service. The green salsa is amazing with just the right amount of kick.
Came Here As A Last Option… Turned Out GREAT !!! Me and My Partner Are Really Picky. Margaritas Were Great, Food Was Good, Waitress Was Kind, Fast, and Attentive. Looks Like A Hole In The Wall Place, But Blew My Mind. Was Not Expecting What I Received ?… Will Definitely Come Back. Don’t Mind The Negative Comments, It Was NOTHING LIKE THAT.
If you dont come for guac and michelada its like there was no purpose for coming to thus amazing great place!! I love this place!! The Manager is always helping around and food is never dissapointing??
