Me and my boyfriend had ordered from this place on Doordash a few times during the pandemic and we absolutely loved it. We visited the area again and decided to actually go to the restaurant. It was 95 degrees our and it felt somehow even hotter inside, they have water but it doesn't come with ice and has a bas taste. The food we usually got before (Aloo Queema and Goat Vindaloo) were red this time. Which is fine, but obviously didn't taste the same and had large chunks of tomato (which I don't care for) so unfortunately did not have a great experience. Not as good as it used to be... Samosa was also kinda cold and the filling was confusing

First time eating Indian food one of my coworkers recommended that I try Shalamar delicious lots of flavors will definitely return for some more.

We work close to this restaurant and I hate that it took us so long to try it out. I’m no expert in authentic Indo-pak cuisine but this place serves delicious food at a great price. We loved it so much we placed a to go order to feed us and our kids for dinner. It is nothing fancy but a great, solid place with good food.

This was the 2nd time ever trying India food (I believe this place is Indian/Pakistani) and it was delicious experience. We ordered 2 types of Naan, Aloo Cholay (Vegetarian dish), and Karahi Chicken. The chicken had too much bone in my (and it seems like many others’) opinion but it was still good. Nothing came with base rice which was surprising BUT looking at the menu it is very clear which ones come with rice. While we were waiting the person running the front offered us good to try for free. My partner loved it but I’m picky so I passed. I only bring it up to highlight hospitality was awesome.COVID-19 wise they all had masks on correctly which was a big plus for me. Also, the drive home was about 20 mins and food was still hot so for those that also do take out know they buy solid packaging. We will be returning for more food ~ even marking off what we ate on the menu so we can try something new. Except Garlic Naan, because that is always a must.Rating note - Unless we’re traveling, I try to limit 5/5 to trying a place multiple times. So the ratings may fluctuate a bit.

Samosa, Roti and Curry were good.Pani poor was beyond bad.

I ordered 2 orders of chicken tikka Masala and one of my orders was half empty. Also they don't serve basic white rice with their entrees.... I have never in my life ordered chicken tiki masala from an Indian restaurant that did not come with white rice. On top of that the food was incredibly underwhelming. The dish tasted nothing like curry. It was a very bland flavor is just yogurt and coconut. It was not good. Also the two pierces of garlic naan that I ordered had absolutely no garlic flavor. It was just butter and parsley. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager he made excuses and said that it was just the containers packaging that made the food look like there was less in it. It was extremely discouraging that he cannot accommodate me or fix the issue. This goes without saying that I will absolutely never returned those restaurant or recommend it. I wasted $40.
