Decided to stop in for a dinner last night and service was pretty slow. Now, it is graduation time so I can understand as the restaurant was pretty full. Waiter was very attentive and courteous. Food, I had the Pat's Ribeye and was pretty disappointed as it lacked in flavor. Tasted just like another piece of read meat. I will say however that the sides - broccoli and rice were very tasty as well as the appetizers - fried mushrooms and loaded fries. Overall experience was ok though steaks need to be seasoned. Salt pepper, something.

Well it is Salt Grass food so its pretty good all the time. What sets this one apart is the extremely awesome waiters and waitresses. I had a Raul and he is awesome! I definitely have to commend the manager Luis who is new to the store. He is professional, has great character and has the customers back and will go out of his way to please them and make things right to the best of his abilities!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!

This the third Saltgrass I have visited. I thought the food was not as good as the previous 2.I would eat there again. The young man that was our server was very good. I think he might need a hearing aid but it was crowded and a little noisy. The Ribs at the Saltgrass in Longview fell off the bones but that's the way I liked them.The rubs in Texas city or Webster was not as tender.The rattles were as good as the other 2 Saltgrasss I've visited. 3 star is what I will give them
