This chain used to be great. We absolutely loved coming and eating. It was always high quality, but in the past few years, they've cut serious corners, modified recipes all while raising prices, all due to "pandemic inflation". The honey seared chicken was a family favorite that now resembles McDonald's Frankenstein nuggets, with the pressed meat battered chicken pieces. It'd be one thing if they cut corners in order to keep prices where they were, but to do that while raising prices just tarnishes the quality of the brand. Sad to say we probably won't be coming here again, or recommending it.
so I ordered dinner. some of the items were not in the bag. we were not given any utensils. I phoned to speak with the manager, was transferred to three different people. asked if they were the manager. was transferred again, finally to someone who said they were indeed managment. told him what had happened, while trying to be heard over musac on the line. suggested he speak with his staff about checking orders. I was told sorry, some are training. he was sorry some of our items were missing, and we had to eat fried rice with our hands. but he's a good trainer and is telling them everything they need to know. did not offer a refund, or a true apology. I guess as long as it wasn't his family or his money, it just doesn't matter. Too bad for us!
Pei Wei used to be one of my favorite places for quick casual dining, but since they changed the recipes and menu a bit, I no longer go there. Their teriyaki chicken dish used to be amazing and very flavorful and the last couple times I ordered it it tasted like cardboard! I do not recommend Pei Wei Asian kitchen.
Just left and food was horrible. Ordered Pei Wei Spicy chicken to go. This is definitely not usual. Idk what to call this. You guys have to do better. I really want to return it
Went in to place a to-go order and team members just stood there staring at me. This made me incredibly uncomfortable, and no one ever came over to take my order. Not a great impression or experience.
So it's not the traditional Asian food ..was super fast and easy to order we got ours Togo it was done in less than 10 mins everything was hot .. I got the beef and broccoli it had a good potion of meat. the lomein was fine but coulda been better I personally don't like the panda express type food and this is kinda what it tasted like ... but overall experience was not bad!
The entrees are ok. I usually get shrimp teriyaki. I found a couple of burnt fried pieces of food in my bowl. You eat out of plastic bowls and plastic utensils. It just feels cheap. Though, I used chop sticks which is nice to use on this type of cuisine. I really wanted to like Pei Wei, but the place needs a makeover and they keep the place too cold for dining in person.
Amazing food, the “Firecracker chicken” is very good and sweet. I will recommend ittt:)))
bland food, not friendly service. They could do better, Fairmont location is better and knowledgeable!!!
Enjoy the food. But miss the tea they used to carry. We get water now.
