First time to this location. Stopped in for lunch. Sat at the bar and the bartender provided great service. After wanting to try something different I ordered the famous burrito with fajita meat. It was good and as always the rice and beans are good. The salsa and chips are always great.
I have to Give this restaurant a 2. The watermelon Margareta blended was better than on the rocks. I wasn't really hungry but I wanted something to munch on, so I wanted some ceviche. I Asked the waiter how they make the ceviche, she didn't know how it was made, but she went to ask. She came back to inform me that they boiled the shrimp and they add lemon to it. A little disappointing but not a surprise. I decided to ordered a shrimp plates. I didn't get a chance to take a picture but I was a little disappointed on the taste it looked very presentable but needed more flavor little bit of zest. I'm always looking for a good Mexican restaurant but this one was over priced and for what I ordered not worth it. Maybe next time if I come and eat here I will order there fajitas they look very exotic.
Tried Pappasito's Cantina on a vacation based on a recommendation from friends who used to live in Texas. They were right! The food was good but man alive you better come hungry! Tacos as big as your head! Fajitas with so many plates that you need an extra table! Adult beverages were pricey but tasted like top shelf.
Jeremy is FREAKING AWESOME!!My husband and I went to go have dinner tonight here at Papasitos. As always really good! I didn't eat all of good therefore we asked for a box to go. Our waiter Ty brought one and was also a great waiter!! When we were leaving, we'll, we juts left! LOL... and once we got to the car, my husband said "You forgot the food!" So, I went back inside to get it and NOPE! The bus boys did their job and cleaned that table SMACK CLEAN! I of ourselves was bummed. Hoping I'd be able to get the bus boy BEFORE he tossed my food out, I'd asked the Hostess. And she stated it's probably been thrown away. She apologized. AND THEN came in Jeremy! I am assuming he was the manager and heard what happened, asked me what j had and had the kitchen make me another plate. TO GO!! They did NOT have to do that and I am VERY grateful they did!! We will will DEFINITELY be going back! Thank you Jeremy for going ABOVE AND BEYOND for me!! ? NO DOUBT you SHOULD be recognized! I appreciate you!! SO MUCH!!P.S. we even got chips and salsa to go too!! ??
The service and staff are wonderful at this location. We made reservations which was a terrific idea, as this is a very popular location. The chips and salsa provided are quite nice; the chips are a tad easy to fracture though the salsa is a wonderfully tasty tomato heavy dip.The margaritas are delicious. We had one of the Reservas, a sabrosarita, and a selection of other fruity drinks. Appetizers were ignored in favor of fajitas and quesadillas, and I strongly recommend anyone to order steak over chicken.
Great food and drinks! Sam, our server, is exceptional and took great care if us. I have food allergies, and was impressed the extra care that Sam, the manager and chef took to make sure I was safe and had a great food experience. Will definitely be back for sure and will ask for Sam!
Do not go! Prices to go are way to high for the portions they serve, their fries are toxic. The fries tasted like someone just pored sanitizer into the frier. My son said the chicken tenders tasted the same. Cannot fully get the taste out of my mouth over 2 hours later. I have had their food before and still thought "I paid how much for this? This is what i get? Guess what, I still do. It looks cool inside, the manager was helpful. I even spoke to a waitress and she has even heard the complaints about the soapy food. This establishment should be closed down. It is not acceptable to serve food that tastes like that.
Service was TOP notch and we were seated immediately for a 4-top. The chips and salsa kept coming, but most of the chips were tiny crushed pieces. The salsa is a warm, heavily-roasted tomato mixture that I've loved for decades. The flour tortillas are made on-site and are AWESOME! Steak fajitas are much better than the chicken. My kids' meals were more than they could eat, and I was DEFINITELY surprised at how satisfied I was with 'just" the "medium" order. We visit here every few years when passing through and today's experience was as good as our memories.
Still… the best place to get beef fajitas in Texas. Been going here for 5 years now, can’t seem to order anything other than a Margarita and the fajitas, wish they would go back to fajita Wednesday special, and have their green chip sauce for free, I blame covid.
Busy Place And Stay Busy, Need To Come In At Advance. Food Is Great And Delicious, Portions Are A Big Quantity. Appetizer Will Get You Full And You’ll End Up Taking Half Of Your Main Course Meal Home. Atmosphere Lit Up Place Had A Wired Awful Smell, Like Somebody Was Moping With A Dirty Water And Mop. (Maybe Was Only That Day I Came In)Would Recommend It For A Great Time With Drinks And A Great Lunch/Dinner. If You On A Price Budget This Not Place For You It’s A Little Pricey , But Well Worth The Food Quality.
