Fancied the restaurant and environment. Great location and the outdoors seating under the palapas with a perfect view of the moon was just beautiful. Nice breeze as well. The food; The Tampico Dinner for 1 was enough for two! The beef fajitas were tender and moist, the chicken fajitas were flavorful, and the bacon wrapped shrimp with cheese were delicious. The Ceviche lacked a bit in flavor but load it up with lime and add some salt and pepper - a taste of euphoria! ?

These people leaving negative reviews must be seriously touched in the head. Fabulous service, great food, wonderful drinks. Can't recommend the old fashioned enough. Well definitely be back and very soon!
Poor management and Poor service!Extremely disappointed in the Quality of service. While our server was serving two tables she took it upon herself to sit down and have a meal while leaving her two tables to wait for drinks and chips. The manager is no better, I did not ask for any form of compensation due to already paying our bill, I wanted him to simply know the quality of employees that are working underneath him. While I was speaking the gentleman looked down at his watch and crossed his legs as if he was to good to listen to his guests. If that is how Mamacita’s would like to portray themselves to guest I will no longer give any of my business to this establishment.The time was around 8:45 on 01/16/22 just if someone tries to ask.
The Carnitas cut easily and melt in your mouth. The chips are light, crunchy and fresh. The hot salsa is warmed, the avocado salsa is chilled and delicious drizzled on everything else. The freshly-made corn tortillas are thin and not chewy. The waitstaff are super quick, the atmosphere is pleasant, the owner comes around and chats. The prices are good for the quality food they serve.
I really don’t want to write a bad review because we understand the difficulties of running a business, and we love to support our surrounding communities. We used to go there once a week- loved it - even though the fajitas are cooked on a flat grill, they’re still pretty good. Staff is generally great (Wilson is the very best!!) but our family no longer eats there because they changed the chips- disappointing. My daughter just texted me and said “they changed the enchilada sauce and rice” and said she wouldn’t be going back :(I’m posting this to see if anyone else feels same. If so, they may be willing to go back to how it was- unless it’s just an issue with the cargo delays and/or inflation so they’re improvising.
The place looks great and has recovered nicely since their fire! The food was terrific, came out fast, and the waitress and tea/water guy did a terrific job taking care of us!!! Empty plates were taking away quickly, so those weren't in our way. The owner stopped by and checked on us and was very nice! I will be back soon!!!
the hot sauce is the best!! Warm right off the stove. Service is always great!! great food with great prices.
