I usually have great service. The food was warm, and no one came to the table. Persons around me was checked on multiple times. I had to go get my own to go container. As i was leaving, a server said I just noticed you. I said its ok and left.
Food TASTED good. Brought back memories of childhood. Disappointingly, the food got cold before we even sat down. This is due to their cafeteria-style setup of walking down the line, getting everything one at a time and your food sits on your tray for minutes as you wait to check out. Any hiccup in the process (someone taking extra minutes to pay) loses you precious heat. The remedy? WARM PLATES AND BOWLS. It's the simplest fix for this. You cant serve hot food on room temperature plates..just, no. Literally everything we got was cold by the time we ate. The only thing slightly warm was the fried fish. This is upsetting because I could have ordered to-go, brought it inside and eaten my food much hotter.
It's not the best Lubys location to me. I've visited better tasting ones. Bur the last visit tasted a lot better, more flavor. The proportions are small but that's everywhere now. They need a good cook.
Alot more improvements, since 2021, 2020.Elmer was very attentive. Great service ?.The cashier is very attentive!Food was delicious ?
Its improved. Last visit a chashier needed and to move to back or sent home. There was an altercation with the customer before I came up that overflowed into my service. I asked for some help with a tray and lady rolled her eyes and didn't respond. I asked again and she looked at me and ignored me. I had to ask a waitstaff person to help. However, the floor manager continue to allow her to stay upfront interacting with other customers. This visit the manager or lead was more then accommodating and professional. She took thay herself to our table. I really appreciate her help. And there seem to be a better overall customer experience.
I really enjoyed myself at this cafeteria.I had 3 different meats and only paid $40 for myself and my friend.I hadn't had liver in about 15 years. It was excellently prepared. The young man serving us did a great job. I will go back
Food was pretty good, cold have been a bit hotter though. Most of the staff were nice, polite. Our waitress, Anna, was the sweetest. She held a whole conversation with a 4 year old, was cheerful and smiley.
After plenty of good experiences with other Luby's locations this restaurant was definitely not one I would recommend. I had the almond fish and my fiance had the fried fish. We had a side of vegetables too. The fish was cold and we both ended up leaving the restaurant within 5 minutes because the food was so bad. I feel bad for leaving a terrible review but this restaurant disappointed me.
Ordered pecan pie and got pumpkin. Their pumpkin pie is horrible I would have never ordered it. It’s not even close to pecan pie. Can’t stand how they make substitutions without even asking you. Would have rather gotten no pie than their pumpkin. Horrible just horrible. Their baked almondine was very dry. Will not order from them again.
A Had a very enjoyable luncheon with my siblings. Each individual choice of entre and sides was all the rave in comparison at the table.I was surprised to have seen an extended entre selection since the last time I visited. I chose the chicken fried chicken and was not disappointed. Also had spinach and cabbage, both surprised my palette the taste of good ole home town cooking.Wait staff were friendly attentive and patient and provided our every need. They deserve 4.75 Stars.
