My wife and I set up front at the bar. Food was very good. We have been there many times and I don't think we ever have a bad meal.
Food was TOP NOTCH, no qualms whatsoever about it. The atmosphere was also really nice, same with the server. Would definitely recommend. It is however pretty expensive, so just keep that in mind.
We’ve been here several times and it’s normally amazing. Today however we went on a double date with my husband, myself and our best friend and her boyfriend.Their food came out good and they enjoyed it. Mine, however, was a pound of snow crab legs and boy were they sad and time.My face said it all when they sat my plate down! I ate it but for 40.00 I shouldn’t have left hungry. I was very disappointed and the wait staff just gave excuses instead of offering me something else.I know everyone is quick to complain so I must point out the other trips (5 or so) have been amazing. This is the only bad one and this is the one that counted as we were on our Valentines date.Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend the crab!
I didnt catch the young lady servers name. She was the best. Very nice, pleasant and attentive.Grilled shrimp was good. Onion rings were good. Prices are a lil bit overpriced for what they serve you. That's my only dislike. But this rating is for the server, it was nice having a good server.
Food…KILLER and 5 stars!!!! Zomg I had the Blackened Pacific Bass with La Paz something and asparagus. I wish I coulda kissed the chef it was so good. So fresh too. The 4 stars is because the restaurant could be cleaner and brighter (floors, doors, tables). Picture made me smile :)
So, we come here a lot, as it is my kids' favorite restaurant. The past few times haven't been stellar, but we still come because everyone loves the food. However, I came in last night and I can easily say it was my absolute worst experience here by far. Multiple items of food were forgotten about, so we never received them, a drink was forgotten, ketchup was never brought so I ended up getting it myself and my kids shrimp came out wrong (they ate it anyway because they didn't want to wait for more). Fairly certain we will not be returning sadly. The food is great, but I can't justify spending over $100 on a meal where the service is that bad :(
I have been going to Floyd's for 12 years. It was 5 stars. They had the greatest burgers. There buns were like a sour dough roll that would hold all the flavor but my wife and I. Went there tonite and they have new buns to save money. They fall apart and now there like everyone else. Side note to all business DO NOT sacrifice quality for quantity. I will never order again. Drinks absolutely! ??
We have loved going here for probably 20 years, starting with the original on Durham Dr. Although, sadly, that one is no longer there. Never disappointed, food is always delicious, service is always great, and prices are fairly reasonable.
My husband, son and I went last night and ate 3 dozen oysters and snow crabs...it was delicious! Excellent service! We sat at the boat bar and really enjoyed our time!!! The bartender and bar back/shucker were on top of everything. Highly recommend this place. I use to come many years ago and it's even better now! Keep up the good work, Floyd's!
Great friendly service...always very good food. Fresh, fast, made to order. And don't forget fresh shucked raw oysters...this has been a go to for many years
