Great Peach malts and very good grilled cheese sandwiches!
Found this gem on the drive from Dallas to Possum Kingdom Lake. Had a cheeseburger, piping hot order of onion rings and a lemonade. All were tasty. The Shop has a great vibe and even better prices. My only regret was not trying the ice cream. At least I have an excuse to stop by again.
Went around 3pm on Wednesday, June 1st. I ordered a pineapple shake and fried pickles. They were both delicious! ?? The only problem I had is that the girl taking our order seemed like either she was angry or in a bad mood, or something.... didn't smile the whole time she was talking to us, and just basically looked like she hated her job....?? there was a sign saying they were short staffed and were closing early, so maybe that was her problem; however, that's not a reason to be rude to the customers....I am a server and we are ALWAYS short staffed where I work, but I always have a smile on my face when dealing with customers.... they pay your bills, so BE NICE AND SMILE, PLEASE .....??
The food was good and the price was good too. I would recommend to anyone, especially if you like malts. Only thing was outdoor seating, but we were fortunate to have a breeze t blowing when I was there.
Great old fashioned hamburgers!!
My hamburger bun was soaked in hamburger grease. You could squeeze it out and you tasted nothing but grease. This is not normal. My wife's burger was just like it is supposed to be prepared. She loved her burger.
I'm 90 years old and have been eating at the Malt shop as long as I can remember and the quality of food has notwavered. Anytime I'm in the Weatherford area I have to stop in for one of their delicious cheeseburgers and a chocolate shake. Try them out you'll love them too.
The malt and drinks are good here but the combo are small for their price
Amazing! I have driven past this place for years and that was a mistake. If I only knew then what I know now. Wonderful food.
Great Frito Pies, of course malts & homemade ice cream are yummy!? Getting their hours down is only problem! Think I have it now ... Wednesday & Thursday close @ 5:00pm!
