Was really looking forward to trying this place Saturday 6/4/22. It's a "seat yourself" style bar & grill. We found a table by the window. Plenty of them available as the place wasn't busy. Staff standing around socializing seemed to be the theme of the day. We weren't greeted, acknowledged or served. We did make eye contact on our way in and politely while waiting at our table.Sat for almost 20mins waiting for a server to bring waters, utensils, take a drink order, etc.. never happened. Only 3 of us at the table. Another group of 4 then arrived and sat at the table next us. They had a server come right over and take there drink order w/ an appetizer right away.. The server walked away without acknowledging us.I understand maybe they didn't realize we were there 1st (although they did look our direction a couple times), but they could've said, "someone will be right with you" or "sorry for the wait", etc.. we would've been fine with that.It's too bad, we always tip well. But couldn't even get service in a slow restaurant. Definitely won't give them a 2nd chance. It isn't worth the drive with known great options nearby. Big Burger in Hudson Oaks was 9mins away and saved the day! Great food @ Big Burger!
First time here. The food was Awesome and they give you enough for 2 people. Great atmosphere. Waitress was great. View was nice. Will definitely go back again.

Great atmosphere, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly lady and told to sit wherever we would like. We chose the covered patio that had a great view to the lake. We had our baby with us and so did many others. It was extremely kid friendly. Our waiter, Trey was fabulous and attentive. The food was amazing. I didn't get a picture because we ate it so quickly! We will definitely be back to this restaurant!
The service was great. Great food , we got our food and it was cooked perfect and we did not have to wait long for our food. The Owner ( Randy)is very involved in making sure your taken care of . Great atmosphere and you can dine on the deck , with a great view of the Lake . This place is a hidden treasure. If you want to support a local business that does things right . Go to the Tavern on the Lake.
Great food, great atmosphere, great people and cold beer. Not much else you need. Definitely recommend.
Amazing atmosphere, service, and food. I have yet to try something I didn’t love! Don’t leave without trying the spicy cheese curds!
Cramped loud and stuffy atmosphere. Live music was unbearable. Food was without flavor or seasoning and burgers were plain and undercooked. The sweet tea was good.. not worth the visit. If I hadn't been meeting with friends I would have walked out.. first and last time any of us will eat here.
Great place for watching the games or just hanging out with friends. Good food and excellent service. Never had a bad time here. Live music when weather is better.
Food was good, definitely need to get the medium well-done burger next time. Only issue was none of the wait staff wanted to touch the take out order, so my mom and I were waiting a while before we asked someone to confirm it was ours
