We were in town from Washington state for a wedding. The waitress didn't write down a single order from our party of 5. She said she had it all in her head. She had it all in her head and that's where it must have stayed because nothing was right. The food was terrible. Everything was cold. When you order a quesadilla and the cheese isn't melted you know there's a problem. We did like raisin canes chicken though just down the road.
We came to eat dinner and did not have good service. We had three split tickets. Two got the wrong items for there plates. They got switched. One got the chicken raw. My daughter in law got the wrong plate. We still let this slide since we knew we would not be back. So she had to wait to get her food. My daughter in laws mother had ordered a watermelon drink on the rocks and was given a frozen one which she had to try and drink it real quick so we could leave which was not to pleasant to do. Once we got the tickets they we’re wrong. They said they fixed it but was not. And we’re blaming the computer. It took three times to get the tickets fixed. I spoke to the manager and she acted like it was not a big deal. This is lousy service. I was so upset that I walked back in to tell the manager how awful the service and her attitude was about what had just happened. I hope your company has pride enough to at least hold these people the waitress and especially the manager accountable. This is so sad that we still had to pay a tip for this kind of service. There are much better places to spend our hard earned money at. Sad part is the manager did not even offer a discount. I would like someone from your company to please contact me. If you even care.
The food could have been lot better my taquito was left over in the warmer for a while. The service was great. Brendan was new and nervous but he did a great job.I did send part of the food back and he brought out fresh. Thank you
Overall experience was bad initially being first time here. But the manager did a good job with the issue my family experienced. One server passed us off to another who was extremely busy, to wait on, who I found out was a former employee. They got seated after us, and recieved food and drinks before us. Our server did a good job being so overwhelmed with other tables so I tipped him well. Spoke to the manager about what occurred with other person and hopefully they set them straight.
We really like OTB. We used to live in Argyle and went to the Roanoke location every two to three weeks and quit going because the food and service went downhill. We moved to Weatherford recently and gave this location a shot and so glad we did. We now go at least once every two weeks and have for the last 6 months.The Manager Wendy is awesome! She was walking around introducing herself to people and asking if things were ok. I see her doing this all the time when we visit. Such a great personality and pleasant to speak to.The bartender Stephanie is great as well. We always sit at the bar and she is so naturally sweet and great.
This was our first time here. Our food had a few hairs in it that weren’t mine but the manager was really nice about it and took it off the bill. The queso was strange tasting. The waitress was really good, nice and on top of everything. I just wish she wasn’t so pretty my husband kept gawking at her. I don’t think we will ever go back but it was ok.
Great food and great service. Enjoyed my 42nd birthday with my daughter and grandma. They gave me free dessert
Wow....what can I say.....this was the worst experience of terrible food ever! Service was good but food was TERRIBLE. I've been dining at OTB since early 90s. I guess with rising food costs they just cut way back on quality. What a shame! Not even the drinks were good. I'm pretty sure taco bell serves better food and I don't eat that stuff!Update: after we were just going to pay and leave (without eating our food) the manager. WENDY, redeemed our experience a bit. She asked to make it right, so we allowed her to have cooks remake our food. Food was better the 2nd go around but most importantly, Wendy did a great job trying to fix the problem
I just want to write a review on how amazing Wendy, the manager was. Our food was Door Dashed, but we were missing out on some tortillas. We were unable to go up to OTB and get them so she sent someone to deliver them. I will definitely continue to use On the Border for future food options for our company meetings and etc. Thank you Wendy!
Sunday afternoon, 2 o’clock, moderately busy. We went in, two or three groups were ahead of us so we went to the bar. 4 seats at the bar were available. As we sat down the hostess rushed over and said there was no open seating AT THE BAR!! But... she would gladly put is on the wait list to sit AT THE BAR!!!
