I ordered a Southwest Avocado chicken salad with extra chicken(+$3.00) for my mother who had a chemo treatment earlier in the day.Got it home and it had no avocado and only 3.6 oz of chicken. For a 14 dollar salad my sick elderly mother was hugely ripped off.I contacted the company about it and offered to send a video of the salad and weighed out chicken. They ignored me. I have to assume this sort of rip off is business as usual for this company. I'll give bad word of mouth about this business every chance I get.
This location by far has the absolute worst pickup order process. We showed up to pick up our order that was placed and it was supposed to be ready at 12:30. My husband stood in the lobby as there was no bag at the pickup counter with his name on it. He waited for well over 30 minutes *past* the pickup time. When he was finally able to talk to someone working the counter, they walked into the back and nonchalantly placed our cold, soggy order that was ready 40 minutes prior on the counter and was like “I guess somebody that made drinks didn’t put it on the counter”. After reading the manyyyyyyy 1star reviews (don’t let the 4 star overall fool you, this location is awful), you’ll notice numerous people having the same complaint. It’s frustrating to place an order for pickup and watch people come inside, sit down, eat their meal and leave all while yours sits in the back and gets cold. If you can’t support pickup orders in a relatively timely manor, then maybe consider not offering it. I can assure you, we won’t be wasting our money by coming back.
I hate that DoorDash does not often make available gluten free options that most restaurants have in my experience from the restaurants that I order from. I need dinner delivered as I am working this evening. I have a child with Celiac disease and she loves Macalister’s gluten free bread. I called the restaurant and spoke to GM Miriam and she was kind and is making my girl her gluten free bread toasties that she loves. Thank you for making a working mom’s day a little easier!!!! Ok a lot better!!!
It's probably not so much McAlister's in general as it is this location, I'll order food 30-40 minutes in advance and still have to wait 15-20 minutes past my "pick up" time to actually get my food. My recent attempt was 32 minutes past pickup time and my food was not warm at all, my ticket on my order was right after my pickup time, I assume it sat in the back until they realized I had been standing there a good minute or so. I understand being busy and short staffed but if it's that much of an issue they should think about closing this location as it seems to always happen here.
Love the Spicy Turkey Melt!! Loaded with a spring mix, fresh tomatoes, bacon, avocado, and a spicy chipotle ranch. The bread is always fresh! Ordering through the app saved about 20 minutes of wait time. The Weatherford store is always friendly! Great place to dine in or take out!! Yum!!!
Terrible service 5-6 employees just standing there talking to each other instead of acknowledging me then when another employee came out she actually acknowledged me asking if I’ve been helped, and then I was there to pick up a sweet tea it wasn’t sweet then the female employee gave my wife issues being hesitant to fix the drink order. We were very patient and asked nicely for the issue to be resolved and the kindness was not reciprocated.
I used to eat here all the time, but stopped going here for about a year. The day before yesterday I decided to order curbside pickup, when I got home I noticed the portions were way smaller than they used to be. BUT that was not that main issue, I eat my salad and baked potato and go to bed a few hours later. I woke up around 3am with severe vomiting. Fast-forward to later in the day, I can’t hold down anything and i’m still vomiting, so I go to the hospital. At the hospital I was diagnosed with food poisoning, and they linked it probably back to the cold chicken that was in my salad. I’m now on so many prescriptions, and had to spend hours in the hospital to get diagnosed. Absolutely disgusting and I will never go back to any McAlister’s after this experience.
I ordered online at 12:00. I was supposed to be ready at 12:14. After waiting 25 minutes (12:40) I went to the manager and said I either needed my food now or a refund because I had to get back to work. The orders were piled high on the pass through from the kitchen. The entire time I waited only 3 to go orders came out. There were probably 10-15 people waiting for to go orders and hardy any people in the dine in line. She said the system had gone down, but that doesn't explain why there were orders stacked up that they weren't getting out. Poor, poor organization and management.
Too slow! If you get a to go order, you better call in advance or you will be waiting a very long time for your food. This reastaurant needs to be more efficient, because customers should not have to wait an excessive amount of time when they already called their order in advance! Please choose Firehouse Subs instead!
Good food but 2 stars is for the not user friendly online ordering. Can't make substitutions so you have to call in order. Been doing it that way for a month. Now they won't take curbside order over phone. Really? But they will take pick up order over the phone? Your website is very misleading. Not good for the bottom line.
