I FINALLY tried FUNKY MONKEY SHAVED ICE today. & let me just say, I was NOT disappointed!!! I happen to LOVELOVELOVE snow cones! But my experience today was beyond ANY snow cone I have eaten before....& thats 56 years of snow cones! I had the ROO, which was so decadent & rich, I was amazed! The ROO is both blue coconut & wedding cake with FUNKY MONKEY'S AMAZING homemade cream on top & a surprise of a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it! There was plenty of FM's cream on top & a very generous scoop of ice cream! & the price was far below what I would be willing to pay for the next ROO...which will be VERY VERY soon! The staff only added to my experience in the most positive way! They all were absolutely so sweet & kind! Which was refreshing considering how BUSY they are at ALL times with the drive thru & in store purchases! & let's just say their decor is adorable! & their merchandise from t-shirts to stickers are not only extremely cute,but certainly people don't mind advertising for FUNKY MONKEY! It was honestly one of my best 1st experiences at any place that is a foody's DREAM! FUNKY MONKEY'S SHAVED ICE specialty flavors give actual desserts like strawberry cheesecake & banana pudding a run for their money & I have little doubt that FUNKEY MONKEY'S phenomenal flavors & excellent prices would beat out traditional desserts!!! I HIGHLY recommend FUNKY MONKEY SHAVED ICE to EVERYBODY! Definitely an excellent value, fantastic flavors, & amazing staff! It is a win win in every way possible!!! (& fyi: FUNKY MONKEY, I have a few GREAT ideas for new specialty flavors!!! You should have a flavor contest & let the winner get FREE SHAVED ICE for life & they get to eat the first shaved ice winning flavor!! Lol)
My favorite place ever! White Coconut with cream is so yummy! Everyone here is so sweet and so kind and you feel welcomed and they get your order out so fast. This is where everyone should go!
After asking, paying and tipping for sugar free and clear snowcones from their menu, they hand me bright red snow cones for my kids. After telling them it was supposed to be clear, she told me they don’t have any and walked away. Never offered to fix it & if it is true that they don’t have clear colors, they need to take it off their menu and stop letting people pay for a clear snow cone.Most unprofessional service I’ve ever experienced in Aledo.

Unfortunately drive thru was the only option for today. And of the 7 sno-cones that totalled over $35 only 2 were made correctly.... they were very nice but just didn't seem to care that they were made incorrectly. Maybe it was just an off day.... but none were corrected.but they definitely wasn't having it on allowing customers inside. Sort of a disappointment but not a deal breaker.Pricey....
I kept seeing this place on my way back from the gym and finally decided to try it. Such a good decision. Great great great shaved ice. I can't wait to come back for more to try all their flavors
Kinda like Bahama Bucks stores, with different flavored shaved ice desserts. Fun place to try. Seemed to be more syrup than ice cream or shaved ice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very happy that they recognized first responders by giving giving them a discount. I dare say, a better location would afford them more business. The store in Weatherford is HARD to find, tucked away BEHIND a strip shopping mall. We almost didn't find it and suspect they loose business by not being easier to find. Only the frequent, local customers can find it!!
Haven't been there in a while, I went there today with my toddler. We both loved it, it seems they took some things off the menu but the flavours they still have were pretty good. I had the tigers blood, it was top tier.
Great family establishment, with friendly staff and a great variety of flavors, & let me tell ya about them flavors, ?had 3 different ones today (bubble gum, pineaple upside-down cake & the new one) and now i can't wait to try them all!
I got the Peach Jubilee with Cream Cheese and it was phenomenal! The prices are really good as well. My husband got the Dirty Monkey which was a lot of chocolate, and had to be my favorite of the two! We will be returning for more treats!
