We went on a Friday night.....Ordered our 2 dishes and waitress came back and said they were out of the dish.Ordered again and the same thing. She came back after giving us time to look over minimal at this point menu and we politely said we would try again sometime. She let us get half way across the restaurant before rudely hollering "sorry we couldnt find something to make you happy with tonight" as if it were us with the issue. I dont embarrass, instead it upset me. It was rude. An upscale place of business shoulf also have staff to match.
A taste of Texas with Texas-style fine dining. Food was delicious. The burger I ordered was huge but tasty. The sweet potato chips were the best I have ever had. We had a large group that was handled well with an attentive staff. Bonus is you are in picturesque downtown Weatherford.
Fabulous atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!
Staff and waitress were super friendly and kind and attentive. The food was good but not great. I expected more. The prices deserve better.
Really fantastic dining experience. Wonderful wait staff, great ambiance, and the food was excellent. We had the bruschetta, steaks, and Cesar salad. All were off the charts delicious. Fire Oak Grill is a true gem!
My husband and I eat at the Fire Oak once a week. The food is consistently delicious and well prepared. Deanna usually serves us and does a fabulous job. We are so fortunate to have such a lovely fine dining venue here.
Came here for my anniversary and was pleasantly surprised at how great this place really is. Steak was perfectly cooked, dessert was awesome. Atmosphere was wonderful. Only critique is that they could enforce a modicum of dress code to include no hats indoors for men (real men know better). A completely wonderful meal from start to finish!
I was very much looking forward to this dinner with my wife and friends for her birthday. Was not bothered that one of the featured items was out, must mean it was good! I ordered an alternative the house tenderloin medium rare. I got more of a medium well. The server who delivered my plate did not ask for me to cut into to check it. It was sometime before someone did come by and by then I was done eating. I also ordered a wine pairing for my tenderloin well in advance of my entree and it made it out after I was done eating, i had returned to the bar. The waitress did offer to get me another cooked correctly. But by that time most everyone was finishing up dinner and I did not want to keep them behind just for me. My wife also mention that while the plate presentation was beautiful, they were too big for the table. It was hard to set our plates, drinks and menus on the table. We resigned to setting a few items on the floor. Also slow to bus old plates and glasses. I got an old fashion when I got in. Finished it with my appetizer but it stayed on the table when we left several hours later along with other dishes. We did mention birthday and we did order a dessert. They brought out a "special dessert for my wife and friend" said they wanted to do something for them. The birthday dessert appeared on our bill. We didn't order it and we paid for it.The Mac and cheese is amazing. My over cooked tenderloin was great. But when you pay that price, you want it the way you ordered it. Are waitress was delightful and charming. I wish the dessert menu had some more traditional flavors included for winter. For those who are time savvy, are reservation was at 7 and we sat right away. We left at 10pm. When you say you just need a minute, they give you several before returning. Not sure if this is an understaffed issue. I don't really blame our waitress because I never saw her take a break. She was working! Don't know if we will return. So hard though to find an upscale place in Parker county.
Superb. Superlative. Stellar. We had reservations for Saturday evening and the place started to fill up quickly. The wife had the sous vide filet, mac & cheese and grilled asparagus, while I had the special which was grilled salmon on a bed of pilaf & greens. The beef tenderloin was absolutely mouth watering, and my salmon had a slightly crispy but moist and flaky done to perfection. I would highly recommend visiting the Fire Oak Grill.
We went for an early Valentine’s meal. The food was amazing, service was great, and perfect romantic atmosphere
