We were staying at a local B&B and got our breakfast comped here as part of our stay. Let me start by saying this is a super cute place, but the counter service at 10 am was slowwwww. It was a Sunday morning so I can have some grace for this since we were all probably sleepy. :)I got the regular latte with almond milk and the build your own scramble, with spinach, mushrooms, mexican cheese blend and egg whites. It was so tasty! And I thoroughly enjoyed the latte! My mom ordered something similar and enjoyed hers too.I really wish they would open this place in Houston, as I would love to go, but sadly, I guess I will have to make the trip back to my birthplace of Waxahachie to enjoy it again! :)
I had the Cold War coffee and it was really good. Not to sweet and excellent flavor. I had the customized bowl. It was good, nothing exciting. Ratio of egg to potatoes was 3:1. Coffee, amazing.
Stayed in Waxahatchie for a month for a work trip. White Rhino was an excellent getaway from our hotel. They have a lovely patio and lots of inside seating options. The coffee is amazing as well.
Thoroughly enjoyed finding a place to land for a few hours this morning while we were waiting to pass the time and play a game.
Beautiful place to stop by to grab a quick lunch. If you have an electric car, do not waste your time getting here. All three chargers are taken by regular vehicles. When I informed the staff inside, they did absolutely nothing besides shrugging their shoulders. Needless to say, they lost a customer. See pictures!
What this sorcery?! The secret sauce + each component of the breakfast sandwich is such ecstasy. Plus my Matcha Lavender latte tasted like fruity pebbles. I was enjoying these so much that I forgot my purse in the car. Next time I'm setting up camp on the lawn to start my mornings here.
Great atmosphere, Great food, Great coffee, Great deserts. I have never eaten at the White Rhino until today. I guess I have been missing out. I had a Breakfast sandwich along with a side of potatoes. Great taste. The White Rhino is a remodel two story older house with a big front porch. As I said, Great atmosphere. All ages and plenty of wifi and room to share. So your next Drive Across Texas and you find yourself in Waxahachie, it's worth your time to stop by and grab a cup of coffee or something to eat. The Cold War is my favorite coffee drink ever. I’ve traveled far and wide but nothing hits like this drink. Happy to see white rhino expanding into Midlothian and all over Dallas! Fingers crossed for Austin to be next on the list.
Coffee was good, but the vibe was off. People didn’t pick up after themselves, it was crowded and felt unwelcoming. However, we were able to escape that by sitting on their patio on such a lovely day. 3.5 stars would be my rating if I could do .5s.
Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Tasted like high quality ingredients. Customer service was really good. Can't wait to go back
