Such a great place… Nice atmosphere
wonderful food, awesome staff! going back again.
The most amazing clean burger I've had in awhile!! Great service & food was very flavorful. I'd highly recommend this small, family run burger joint!!
Decided to try this place with my husband. We ordered burgers they didn’t ask us how we would like them cooked so we weren’t surprised when we received burgers that were over cooked. My husband didn’t say anything about his and I just ate mine. The waitress came back and asked if she could get us to go boxes and realized that he hadn’t even taken more than a couple bites of his. She asked if it was because he didn’t like it and he told her yeah, it was overcooked and said he didn’t want a box. She then grabbed the burger and the picked the check up and said let me take care of that for you. She returned and asked if we wanted a desert, we can’t have dairy so we told her no and she said my manager won’t let me take off your burger. We paid and left.I’ve emailed them since and not heard anything back. We won’t be back.
Best Rib Eye Steak, love your cheese burgers and fries. All salads and dressings are home made. The staff is great!!!
Great burgers and fries! And pizza!
Great place to enjoy some grilled burgers and milkshakes
We really wanted to like this place since it is so close to us - we visited twice and unfortunately had a similar experience both times. The burger we tried was good, but everything else we tried was not. The chicken was dry, the catfish was soggy, the mashed potatoes were cold, and the rolls were burnt to a crisp. After showing the roll to the waitress and asking for another that wasn't burnt, she went back and conversed with the cook, then came back and told us that's the way the rolls "came" today. Not sure what that means but we got a good laugh and then demonstrated that hitting a fork on the roll made the loudest clank ever. The waitress just laughed and offered us some toast instead.
We did the Valentines Dinner on Monday night and this is only the second time we’ve been to Ugly Heifer but both times we had a group of 8 and 10. Both of our visits was well worth it. We ordered a variety off the menu and each of us had nothing but praise for the food and the service. The owner, John, took the time to chat with us and also the other patrons as well, and even made it over to the piano and played a lovely piece! The waiters were very pleasant and friendly and “cut up” with us. BUT the best part was the food! The steaks were cooked to perfection, very tender and seasoned well, the smoked chicken was delicious and they give you large portions of sides. If you could give six stars I would! THE only complaint I could make (realizing that someone else might take the opposite of this) is that it was a little cool in there.
Stopped by on a road trip, best decision ?. The portions were awesome!! I love the biscuits ?. I ordered a dish called a little bit of chicken, my daughter ordered the slow chicken.. We were not disappointed! The local menu of soft drinks was awesome. I love restaurants like this instead of the cookie cutter type. One of the owners even took time to stop by each table.. almost a lost art nowadays.
