The burgers are fine- the menu says they are cooked medium, but they are well done. They haven't got a ton of flavor, and they're very basic. Everything on the menu is very basic. You don't get types or styles of burgers, you just get the burger. The one thing on the burger that was a bit different was the pickles. They are sweet- I liked them. But the flavor didn't match the rest of the burger. It would have made more sense if it was on a burger with goat cheese and jam or somethingWe got the deviled eggs as well (not pictured)- they only come with three half eggs and we're not very flavorful either, I wouldn't recommend them. The bread pudding was described as having berries in it- it doesn't, it's just a basic bread pudding with berry sauce on top. It's extremely sugary. It was pretty tasty, but not what I expected. All in all, the food is fine, but everything here is overpriced, and none of it was particularly great
Stopped and had lunch here while visiting family and really enjoyed it. The food and appetizers were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. My favorite was the deviled eggs. Would definitely return.
Incredible. BLT was maybe the best I’ve had. Burger was UNREAL. We had two appetizers and both were top notch. For dessert, get the chocolate/pecan pie. ?It’s really busy on Saturday at lunch, but they have a neat store attached to spend the time. Well worth it. 10 out of 10
The Doves Nest is tucked inside the shop/boutique of the same name. Plenty of seating but a nice cozy bistro/cafe vibe mixed with rustic charm. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Food was made to order and came out pretty quickly. Prices were decent for the quality of the food.I had the Ham and Jam which was VERY Delicious. All the elements worked well together. Highly recommend. The other photo show is the club panini and it was Stacked with the sliced turkey. I subbed the chips for the soup of the day which was White Chili Chicken. It was good but the sandwiches were 10x better. The only iced tea they had was a spiced orange tea. It wasn't bad but I personally think it would work better as a warm tea. Still a decent drink and worth a try, just wish I had another option. All in all it is a lovely place with great people and even better food.
Absolutely loved this place! Casual dining with a unique atmosphere. Their orange ginger iced tea is a must! Also, they are connected to the cutest little boutique!
We were here for a rehearsal dinner. From what I understand this isn’t something they normally do, but we enjoyed our time here very much! And we think they should consider becoming the venue for more dinners/evening events. There was a charcuterie board, cocktail shrimp, and pimento cheese balls for an appetizer. Or favorite was the charcuterie board! For dinner, we had steak, green beans, and mashed potatoes. Then for dessert we had the butter pie and the molten chocolate cake. All were amazing!
Great waitstaff and super yummy lunch! Cute southern spot for gifts, ideas, and healthy and tasty meal. Way more than a tea room!
Enjoyable environment, friendly staff, and a budget friendly menu. The meal choices sounded delicious, tasty, and might even be healthy! While the soup tasted saltier than I prefer, it had a lot of flavor I love with goat cheese! So good for my digestive system. We ate everything but couldn't resist trying a piece of buttermilk pie we passed in the display case when getting seated. It was to die for, so fresh and plenty for two to share. The pie is prepared fresh for in-house daily sale. I am so glad we tried the pie, even though we felt quite full from the lunch meal. The wait took a while, but the restaurant is behind a shopping store. So, you can browse around, go to the restrooms, or make a purchase while waiting. It has a local town square charm with a Cracker Barrel ambiance.
The atmosphere is very boutique style. The staff were all very nice and very friendly. The food was delicious. The portions were good, and the food was well plated so it was visually appealing as well. The menu was not overwhelming with the number of choices so that was nice.As a warning for sweet tea drinkers, they have no regular sweet tea or unsweet tea. They only have their spiced orange tea, but it was refreshing and very tastey. This is a wonderful little place to go for a ladies lunch or a relaxing meal. It is a smaller restaurant, but it didn't feel crowded. Be sure to check out their attached boutique. They have many wonderful and unique items and gift ideas.Would deffinitly go again. ???
Cindy is my soul sister as is her food. Chicken salad, over the top, all desserts perfect and a gift shop to boot. She has catered over 25 events for me, all A+
