Love the classic diner atmosphere. Burgers were great! Only complaint is that the buns seemed cheap and crumbled easily. The shoestring fries were crispy and crunchy (but not overcooked). Lots of old fashioned milkshake flavors to choose from. Definitely worth stopping off I-35!

Really good burgers the way they used to be made. The bun is put on the grill too and we all know that makes such a difference. Good fresh hand cut french fries. It's an old building and little run down inside. Not much of a view sitting outside but that's not why you go. Parking is right against outside patio, but anytime we can sit outside no matter where we go, we do. Good burgers and fries make up for the view and the appearance. They're located a block from dowtown. A must stop in Waxahachie.

They were short staffed but working hard to accommodate and serve customers. The peach lemonade was delicious. I had the tuna sandwich and taco soup. The tuna was above average. They toasted the bread. The veggies were fresh. The taco soup was delicious. The chips and pickle wedge were included. I enjoyed my meal.

Very good! Food was delicious. It was our 1st going here, and we will most definitely go back. The only disappointment was they were out of shakes, Onion rings, fried pickles, and a few others. But I was informed they were extremely short handed and still gave great service ?. So, we will be going back to try the rest!

Great burgers and cold fries. Slow service but the burgers are worth the wait.Dirty tables need cleaning.

Do not give your money to this place I was tired of being treated like crap and so over worked that I quit! And now I can’t even get them to pay me my two last pay checks I have texted their so called manager and was told she isn’t over that and to lose her number and have been told that my first check was mailed and that was two weeks ago!

Great food in a cool atmosphere. The manager, Jennifer and her staff are super sweet!

First time to visit. Went there with friends who have eaten at Pop's before. Construction around the building make for challenging parking currently, but certainly not Pop's fault. I had the Philly Cheese sandwich and it was delicious. Large hoagie type bun filled with lots of chopped ribeye steak meat, grilled onions and provolone cheese melted on top. The serving of meat was very generous and falling out back into my basket...it didn't go to waste though. Loved the thin cut onion rings and awesome sauce that was included. While this is sort of a fast food place it is only going to work out well for you if you have restaurant type time to wait for your food...but it is absolutely worth the wait. Not sure what is with the floors, but they felt very slick to tennis shoes and I heard others also shuffling their feet on the floor as they walked by. Will be back, just wear your no slip boots.

Usually this place is amazing and that’s one reason I come back time after time. Support a local business no matter the traffic pattern inconvenience. However, today was not that amazing day. I called in my order first, waited the time frame stated and went to the outside window for my pickup. It took a minute to even be acknowledged but the staff was nice. It was 40 outside, I was handed a bag stating that my pie was almost ready. No fries. My food is now cold. Pie is ready. I mentioned the missing fries and a lady brings me in her hands a tiny twisted bag of semi-cold fries. I get home and it isn’t a pecan pie as ordered, it’s a peach pie. Not super upset but there’s been better days. I hope things get better.

Very disappointing, will not be back.Placed pickup order, menu prices are outdated by a few $ on several items, orders were wrong on 3 of our items, one order of fries had like 7 fries in it, buns were soggy and falling apart, the Philly tasted like it was pre made and frozen/microwaved, and the person who took our order didn’t write my name down so ended up waiting 10 mins while they figured it out. (Middle of the weekday so they weren’t busy at all).
