We discovered this restaurant a few months back. Diverse taco choices(all quite tasty) good sides, great salsa. We drive an hour but do so gladly!
I am very picky about my tacos, and this place did not fail me. The extreme nachos are extreme and can actually be shared between two people. The puffy taco shells were good!

Decided to have lunch here today. You must come in hungry! Had the grilled chicken taco meal, which comes with two tacos and one side (drink is separate). Very good food and wonderful service. Will return!
Best street taco in Waxahachie! Best chicken tamales the hubs and I have ever had also. We will definitely be back again and again and again! Fresh made tortillas, fresh tamales, fresh cooked meat and seasoned very well. Delicious ?
I am definitely a person who looks for something a little different when it comes to food. Waxahachie is a growing town with many of notable food chains available if that’s what your into. As I was driving I noticed this orange sign and colorful little building with a patio. I pulled in to try Sammy’s Tacos. I must admit I am a sucker for street tacos so, stopping here was an easy decision. The guy at the window was friendly and prompt. I ordered a taco of Barbacoa(beef) and 3 tacos of Al pastor(pork). I was informed the Al Pastor was cooked to order and may take a few extra minutes. Latin music was playing while I waited in the shade on the patio. The food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. Great stop, I will be back!
