Food was delicious ? I ordered the truth baked potato and a hotlink sandwich, which definitely exceeded my expectations . It is worth the price, I would definitely come back and highly recommend. Also the staff was very welcoming and kind.
0.5 starsDefinitely not worth the trip I took and the money I spent. I had the overpriced 3 meats platter. The brisket was full of fat, ribs all bone, and chicken undercooked. The best thing about the meal was the seasoned fried, oh the yams were okay just wish I had actual yams and not the crumbs. Never been so disappointed about ribs and brisket since I moved to Texas.
Hands down best bbq in Ellis county. Huge portions and meat was very tender and flavorful. Staff was very nice friendly. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely the best bbq in Texas. When you order a family meal they really mean the numbers they say. We got a family pack for 8 and our family of 4 ate leftovers for a week. The ribs are amazing and next time I go to Waxahachie I will be ordering the famous potato

To be honest, I’m picky about barbecue. Most places aren’t worth eating. I’ve had it all over the metroplex and this is by far the best I’ve had in 42 years here. The only place I’ve had better is Earle’s in Roby, TX; so that’s not even competition considering it’s so far away. And I’m willing to admit I think it’s the sauce I like better, and that’s not saying Fingers 2 Tha Bone Sauce isn’t good. It’s just a preference and I like heat in the sauce. However, the meat was perfect and that is the true test. This meat doesn’t even need sauce. My husband pointed out the color of smoke coming out of their smoker. Just perfect. I’ll definitely be back. These guys know what’s up.
The Bbq is AMAZING and the portions are very generous! You will not be disappointed.

Ordered two meat plate with 2 sides. I had the ribs, sliced brisket, Mac and cheese and creamed corn.It was delicious but I would prefer my BBQ with the sauce on the side or by request. High end BBQ should be delicious on its own.Ribs were tender but drenched in sauce. Brisket was thick and again, drenched in sauce. Mac and cheese was good but would be nice to have a smoke flavor to it with maybe some bits of brisket or bacon in it.Staff was friendly and pricing was on par for BBQ.
While the BBQ was very good I am not sure it was worth the 40 minute wait. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They need to work on the seating. Kind of cramped. A picnic table or two outside would be nice. Would we go back....yes, but not if in a hurry.
