This place is wasteful! Why did management decide it was a good idea to replace actual plates with styrofoam one use containers?! It’s lazy, especially when the price of a basic sandwich is $8. Really discouraging to see a business in Waxahachie acting so unethically, do better. I won’t be coming back until they change their business practices.
We have eaten from the Farm Luck menu many times. It is always tasty. However, we chose to eat at the restaurant today. Big mistake! Once our order was taken, the service team did not acknowledge us again. We went to the counter to inquire about refills and were totally ignored. There were two people in line to order and at least 4 Farm Luck team members behind the counter. There was no reason for us to go unnoticed. Please let your team know how important it is to remain engaged with the customers through the duration of their meal.
This is a fun little soda fountain type place in downtown Waxahachie, TX. It's a place you can get a made from scratch cherry coke, just like soda fountains used to make. If you ever went to the old Highland Park Pharmacy in Dallas you'll know what I mean. That soda fountain dated back to 1912. I never thought I'd find a place like that after Highland Park closed downing 2018. Recommend Aunt Sandy's Chicken salad. They put on a croissant instead of the usual sliced bread. So good. Really neat couple that owns Farm Luck. Besides inside seating, they have a few tables to sit outside, which is always enjoyable weather permitting. Tables are on the sidewalk so you may have people walking by you, but that makes it fun to people watch. They're right on the square in downtown.
My first time going . I went there with my daughter’s and granddaughter before her soccer game on Saturday. Awesome first time experience. The food was great! You must try the homemade ice cream deserts delicious! Would definitely go back !
Have been there several times and it's always delicious. Broccoli Cheese Soup is ver good, egg salad sandwich is also good. Will try their banana pudding next time looked really good ?
The banana pudding was great. Good price and a bigggg portion. I also had a chocolate ice cream that was just alright. Felt like any other wholesale chocolate ice cream.
My family and I decided to stop in here for dinner tonight and found the employees less than helpful. When we approached the register and asked what was on the California club, the young lady said I don't know, it's only my 2nd day here - then she stared blankly at us. After we ordered, we went to sit down and all the tables were covered in trash. The employees did not care to clean the sitting area at all. When the food came, we had to send back the soup we ordered because it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever.
Nice, stopped on return fromDeSoto to wander the historic square on a Mon at 3:30.Most dining options were closed, a local suggested Farm Luck. Our good luck!Fresh food, had a 1/2 & 1/2 Chicken salad on amazing crosaint with cup of really well prepared tomato basil soup.Ice tea is fresh.Love supporting local biz !
Straightforward menu with great flavors. Classic soda fountain was fun to have some nostalgic drinks and floats. Our whole family walked away very happy.
