We eat at this location alot and have for the past 5-6 years. Good salsa, 2 types. Service is usually good(the last time it was someone new and was kinda rough) they fixed any issue was had. Good food. Fajita special on Thursday as well as discount longneck bottles. Quality chips too.
The waitress was wonderful but the food was SALTY. The charro beans were so salty we couldn't eat them. My husband and I both had enchiladas but different kinds and they were to salty too..The guacamole was good. The last time we went it was salty also but this time was much worse. My husband said he wouldn't be going back.Someone needs to hide the cooks salt!
Great food. The beef was amazingly juicy. Usually those small pieces end up dry but this was fantastic. Portions are more than enough to fill you up.
Meat plates are good. The seafood plate, we didn't like it. Seems to be frozen right before is cooked making meats to be not delightful. But, I'm giving the 5 stars because they fix the issue right away replacing the food without charge, making our experience very pleasant. Everybody was very nice. I highly recommended.
So great! You smell the meat cooking from the courthouse… I could not resist the smell and went with a friend and ordered up fajitas for us both! I don’t know if there was a communication break down or what went wrong at first but it left us waiting on drinks and menus for almost an uncomfortable amount of time. At lunchtime this can be Problematic. After the beginning- the rest went Nicky and the portions were awesome! Enjoyed the hell out of it and had fantastic leftovers to bring my baby at home!
Food was hot and delicious. Staff was great. Parking can be difficult due to being across from the courthouse, but there is a free parking garage right across the street. El Mexicano Grill is our favorite restaurant in town and you won't be disappointed at either location.
LOVED this place!!! Such good food. Good tea. Two different types of salsa. One mild. One spicy. Very spicy. It was all so good. Staff was friendly and efficient. Two thumbs up from us.
I enjoy coming to this restaurant, breakfast is very good, servers are very friendly and Prices are reasonable.
We have been coming here twice a month or more for 6 years. That will no longer be the case. We had the worst experience with the rudest manager (Elizabeth) over a price complaint we had. We have always ordered the ribeye plate which used to be $17.99 (great price)! Then it increased to $22.99 (pricey but good steak). We ordered it today and the price… $38.99! I asked to see the menu because maybe I missed the price. The menu price shows m.p. Which I asked Elizabeth what that meant and to which she responded “well All of our customers know what that means and that’s market price”! “I would understand your confusion but you had the menu”! Well I have been a customer for 6 years and that is super deceiving! What you need to do is educate and train your servers to better communicate Your Price Gouging techniques so All customers don’t feel robbed!!! By the way your online menu still has the price listed at $22.99 so you are Falsely Advertising and that could get you into a lot of legal trouble Elizabeth, but All people know that! We will NEVER eat here again! Elizabeth, you lost some loyal customers with your Rude and Condescending attitude! Owners of El Mexicano grill, you really need a retraining of your entire staff.
My family and I used to like this place. The last two times we ate there they completely doubled our bill. Prices on menu are not up to date with what you will be charged. When we received our receipt we were charged double. I asked to speak to the manager Elisabeth and she was so rude and unprofessional. She said too bad that’s what the prices are now. This has happened in two locations. They are charging you $45 for a ribeye and the menu says $22.99 are you kidding me and $14 for a kids lemonade. Trust me it’s not worth it. Go somewhere else. Very unprofessional and deceiving.
