Ordered the fish and shrimp and my love order fried fish..big portions of food so I think the prices are reasonable. Shrimp was okay but the fish flavor was good. Service was alright not too bad..was fairly busy but no wait for 2. Would come back to try another menu item
Unfortunately really bad experience. My food was bland and looked like it had been cooked then reheated. The male manager ( did not catch name ) was dismissive and very cold to my wife. My waitress was nice and got refills on time but that may have been the only positive thing. Will not be coming back for a while.
Nice place. Clean and good atmosphere. People are awsome. Miya the waitress was just the right amount of attentiveness and frendly. MC the line cook did a great job. The food was great. Rolls were nice. The fried mushrooms were great. And for the main course chicken fried Brisket! It was still moist and flavorful even after frying. The gravy was great. The mash and broccoli casserole where perfect matches. Will definetly go again.
Chicken and dumplings were great! Rolls were good. Ribeye steak ordered "medium" came out well done. The grilled chicken breast in the salad I think was smoked but being pink inside freaked my wife out so she didn't eat hers. The fried shrimp were okay but on the smaller side and the batter was like catfish type batter so not a typical fried shrimp. The fried brisket I thought was gross. Weird flavors mixed together but hey, I had yo try it! The regular fries and sweet potato fries were good but the broccoli rice casserole wasn't that great. Cinnamon apples were real good though!
We were told there was a 20-30min but we needed to visit another store in the shopping center anyway so we put our name and number on the list. The wait ended up being more like 10min so timing was just right. We were seated in a booth in a corner which was perfect for us. The hostess mentioned that our waitress had a very busy area so she took our drink order and brought us rolls (tasty) as well. Not longer after our server, Jo introduced herself, made note of what we were drinking and took our appetizer order. She checked in with is a couple of times then our fried mushrooms were served and they were delicious. I also appreciated that they were hot but not molten lava hot like some fried mushrooms can be served. We ordered our entrees. Chicken Fried Steak with cream gravy, baked squash and broccoli rice casserole for me; pork chops & baked apples, mashed potatoes and corn for the hubs. Everything tasted fine but nothing to write home about. All the dishes could've been a bit warmer. Checkout took a bit longer than anticipated but not unreasonable. Jo is a great server and should be recognized for her hard work and dedication.
Staff was great, price was as expected, but not worth it. I can see the ratings and reviews, time to update. My second visit, the food below sub par, cold potatos that tasted old, I ordered a ribeye that was obviously a skirt steak, medium rare is cooked on both sides, not raw on the plate side/bottom. It was not super busy, no wait, I understand staffing right now, but serving under cooked or old food is not safe. I would steer clear for a while just to be safe
Ordered thru DoorDash the chicken fingers…sweet chili flavor with ranch dipping sauce…fries, shrimp. . No sweet chili flavor or ranch dipping sauce. Food was cold. Considering prices on DD are a little more you’d think I’d get what I ordered!! Never again!
Horrible - This was my first and last visit to CPC. The service was ok - I never had to ask for or wait to long for a refill. The food was slooow and when it got to the table it was already cold or room temp. It seems like it sat out after being cooked for a long time before delivery. The guest I was with also overhear the server complaining about tips prior to even giving our food. Parking is too tight for a normal size truck or suv. I won't be back.
Potions were big. Service was awesome for being obviously short handed. Flavor was good but not spectacular... We had catfish and fried shrimp
We ate here for dinner and were impressed.My hubby said it was the best chicken-fried-steak he has eaten in a long time and he is picky. The waitress was very sweet and everything came out hot n fresh.can’t wait to come back
