Big Al has a big personality and it comes through with how he runs his bar and restaurant. Fun atmosphere!

If you liked Big Al’s food and drinks before you found out about his political views then don’t stop supporting Al’s. The food is still the same. Don’t be petty. And yes I’m a hard core Republican and cannot stand The fake Mexican Beto. And for the people calling names grow up you’re no better than the ppl denouncing Al’s. It’s called freedom of choice not freedom of popular choice. I’ve never been to Al’s but thinking I might soon. Texans for Abbott!!!! Keep up the good work Al!!!!
This is one of my favorite places with ribs that are some of the best in tx. Highly recommend it for groups too.
I met my friend Linda and her family at Big Al's a couple months ago. It was my first time, and it was an awesome experience. The service was great, the macaroni bites were incredible, and drinks were flowing. I will definitely make the drive down from Dallas again.
I wish I would NOT have listened to the negative reviews as it kept us from coming here last night. We're new to the area and always love to support local. Let me just say EVERYTHING about our experience was amazing!!!! The service was on point from the moment we stepped in the door. Thank you Jenny!!! The food was amazing and portions were very generous. We had the pleasure of meeting Big Al as he cam through to greet his customers and chatted for a few. Met some very friendly locals as well. We'll be back for sure!
We love Big AL, so we just knew we would love this place. Not so much. It took a little over 20 minutes to get any type of service. There are only about a dozen tables and 2/3 of them were empty. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and for the most part they were good. That's where that ended. Out main meal was lackluster. I ordered the chicken and waffle meal with hours. It arrived soft and cold. My husband ordered the bbq sandwich. Overcooked and dried out is what it was. Go here for the atmosphere because it is a quaint neighborhood hang out, just eat at home first.
