We tried this place for the first time, and while the service was definitely 5 stars, the food was 1 star so overall it came out to 3. My husband had the fish and shrimp, I had the crab cakes and gumbo, and it all tasted old and chewy. We really wanted to love this place but we just didn't.

Friendly staff, and quick service! I expected a seafood restaurant to smell fishy….Nope not at all. This place was amazing and the food was delicious.
The food was delicious however my fried oysters were minuscule. The blackened shrimp was delicious and the hush puppies were awesome! The salad was so fresh and crisp and the feta cheese on the fresh wild greens was the best! Darrell had fried shrimp no surprise he always eats fried shrimp lol I tried it too pretty good! But those hush puppies hit and dipped in butter yummy do you hear my arteries hardening! The server she was so sweet! Wish they had boiled crawfish sold out yesterday! Ask for Carmen she is a sweetheart!
Pleasantly surprised! We weren't sure what to expect for fresh seafood in Waxahachie, but our server explained that the owner's sons (if I remember correctly) own a fishing charter in Galveston and fresh seafood is brought in twice a week. It was all so delicious! It was crowded when we arrived, but we were seated pretty quickly. Highly recommend!
Trace love the new location and food is still delicious!! But one request ( plz put a changing table in the woman’s restroom ) my daughter had her 4 month old with us and it was a task to do with out one! Lol - but still love love the restaurant!!! Great job ❤️
