This place has gone downhill recently. Although I do love Whataburger, this place needs some serious help. Every time that I went there last semester, the service has been unusually slow, even for Waco standards. On top of this, the cooks seem to have little care for quality control. My fries are always stale and my burger is almost always fallen apart and messy by the time it gets to me. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Whataburger location.

BEWARE- DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. My husband and I were short changed yesterday at the drive through. It was $6. No big deal except when we asked the cashier about it she insisted we were lying then slammed the window in our faces twice. She got the manager who counted the till, of course it was right, (that’s what happens when you steal, it goes in your pocket not the till). Then when I asked for him to check the cameras which surely they have on their cashier, to which he came back saying he couldn’t see anything. I figured this would be his reply and sure enough. We were given an 1-800-burger, number to call and a “sorry.”The cashiers name was Makayla (or Mikayala, his writing was hard to read) and the manager James Furgeson (Ferguson?).Please be careful going through this drive through especially if paying with cash. Actually, just avoid it all together unless you want to be stolen from, then told you were lying and sent on your way. Also whataburger needs to pay better attention to their employees and maybe have better training for counting change as well as measures set up to prevent this from happening further (maybe idk cameras that actually show what is happening with the cashiers).I will edit to add if any resolution comes up, but I highly doubt it will.
I came to whataburger at 6am, Sunday morning. The employees were standing around laughing & joking while I was waiting a long time just for 1 biscuit & gravy. The food was good, but the service was not.
As a native Texan, whataburger is my culture. It's like in my DNA to love this place. My bro works the front counter so I go all the time. Get the Buffalo Chicken strip sammich and add bacon ? ???
I got home my 2 PC ckn kids meal was missing the gravy and the treat. Also The bread on my #2 I ordered was soggy I actually gagged. The food was blank period nasty. Whataburger is not what it use to be. I'm so Disappointed.Never again. MONEY WASTED!
Literally every time my family and I come to this locations they give us cold fries and the orders are always wrong! I literally hate going to this location! This is the second time….. yeh will definitely not be returning! I refuse to spend $30 on food and it’s always wrong or cold!
I've been out of Whataburger range for almost a year and I was really looking forward to a wonderful meal.....The counter lady was sweet and wonderful, but we had to ask for everything, napkins, ketchup, cream for the coffee. The guy who brought our tray of food brought nothing but the food.And the fries were sub-Whataburger quality by far!
Prior leaving the Waco area, we ordered five breakfast meals and the hashbrowns were cold and greasy. Lucky for us we are Whataburger regulars and know that this was a isolated situation as our previous experiences food is always fresh.
We ordered whataburgeries the 31st and today we had to do order it again because they give my man the right amount of change back from canceling it and we ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce not pepper won't have pepper on it that you were okay the drink was watered down and everything do better Whataburger on South Street
