While the dishes we ordered may have been ok, one wasn’t as great. It was too dry and I failed to realize that this was because they failed to add the crawfish sauce to my dish. I believe they can do better. Cannot expect too much from a location that hardly knows what they are doing but can only hope they get better with time. The manager, needs loads of training, the waitress we had, is lacking umph. I believe that if you don’t do a good job as a waitress, then you cannot be one to work there as you pretty much are the face of the establishment. How they treat one is how one makes their assumptions about the rest, can’t say our waitress was great but just like the manager, they need a lot of training! Couldn’t help but notice the sour faces we got from them when we requested certain items or requested a change in channel as it is expected to be done in a sports bar. Will give them a second chance but hopefully it is better than our first try here. Looking forward to trying out the other dishes they may have available and hope they are better tasting. Heck, the best part of the experience, the cook personally came out and apologized for forgetting to add the crawfish sauce to my dish which he didn’t have to do!
First time dining here and we will definitely be back! The hostess and our server was incredibly nice and service was quick. The food was delicious, I ordered a burger with swiss cheese and my husband had the catfish plate. The burger was delicious and well seasoned and my husband said the hush puppies were the best he'd ever tasted! The kids enjoyed playing in the small arcade area for a bit. The view outside is very beautiful as well! (Side note) If you come on a Tuesday with kids, make sure to mention the free kid's meal deal! We came on a Tuesday and we didn't know kid's eat free until after we checked out and saw advertisement on the TVs about it and unfortunately we didn't get the discount as our server forgot to mention it to us.
I had the classic burger, it’s was very good the meat had a lot of Flavor!!! My cheese burger was very delicious hot and juicy ! I had a regular lemonade it was not that great !. Thanks—
We had the grown up grilled cheese, ribeye poboy and alligator. Nothing disappointed. The service was quick and friendly. The food was cooked great. The seasoning was perfect. Recommend 10/10
I had our food delivered through Uber eats and it was so good, fresh, and hot! Everything tasted very good.
Awesome service. Abbey is awesome. Hard to find service this good these day. Somebody give this lady a Pat on the back and a raise. She’s definitely doing her thang. Great fast and clean restaurant. I've been to Walk-On's several times and really have enjoyed each visit. The food is delicious and the service is consistent. I would give them 10 stars for not forcing people to wear a mask during the faux-demic.
We had a great time at Walk-On's! The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great! We started with the Alligator Tail appetizers which were amazing! After that came the Adult Grilled Cheese and the Spinach Artichoke Dip (which is what I got). All very good! Atmosphere and game corner impressed as well. Would recommend if you're looking for Southern food and live sports!
We have been wanting to go to Walk-Ons for awhile. We finally got the chance and went Sunday for a late lunch. We were greeted at the door and asked where we would like to sit. Our only preference was a table. We were seated at the bar area and sat in bar heigh table and chairs which was perfect for us since my husband is very tall. Our server was a lovely young lady named Isabella. She was prompt, efficient and courteous. We ordered our drinks and food and were served within 5 minutes. The food was excellent. We are still talking about our meals. A friend came over, shook my hand and accidentally spilled my water. A customer came over and tried to help and spilled my husband’s drink. Our server immediately came and started cleaning up and then another server came and cleaned the floor. This incident wa a handled with such efficiency and kindness. Bravo to Walk-Ons for having an incredible staff at all levels and amazing food. We will be back soon.
Out with the kiddos.... Trying something new in Waco..... I'm guessing walking in without reservation is ? a good idea....(45-50min wait) Inside is very nice with a mini arcade, over 20flatscreens, plenty of sitting in and out door.... Food; queso was bland and the chips stale .... Our meals did the job..... Overall things could of been better; like my drink ? and not forgetting my dressing....
