The wait was a little long and we kept seeing other tables who arrived after us getting served while we waited. One nice man, not sure if he was a manager, owner, or employee, noticed and immediately helped us out. There seemed to be some new employees so I can cut em some slack. After all the food was delicious, and definitely worth the wait! Best bulgogi in town!
We went there for the first time. There were signs up that there were no bubble teas, one particular sushi roll or poke bowls available today, which was disappointing as we had read good reviews on the teas. Between three of us we ordered 2 Bulgogi Jeongsik, a cucumber mini maki, a California roll and 3 egg rolls. The menu said that the Jeongsik comes with four side dishes, ours both only had three sides, though, bean sprouts and two different kimchis. There were two lettuce leaves to wrap it in-maybe they are counting that? One of our Jeongsiks came with the wrong rice but we took it to the counter and they fixed it quickly. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't the most flavorful that we've had. Overall, it was ok, but we were hoping for really good.
Are you kidding me. This photo is of the Korean style poke bowl. Spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Wow was it good. Really fresh ingredients.There are a lot of things on this menu. And I have not had many. The crab salad was fair at best and not like a normal crab salad. But WOW this poke bowl was the bomb.Awesome. Thank You Wako Roll
Extremely helpful staff, we came in 45 minutes until close and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. On top of that their food was amazing! We're vegan and they had several choices including sushi! Great price points too! Will definitely be back!
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. Clean, cozy atmosphere. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of my entree questions being that I'm vegan. The food came out hot and fresh, and the sushi was just right!! Did I forget to mention absolutely delicious?!!! 5 stars from me! ??
I'm not the biggest fan of sushi so I tried their Bulgogi meat plate (pictured below) and it was incredible!! It came with some fun side toppings and a massive portion of fried rice. The meat was cooked to perfection and it came with lettuce to make lettuce wraps/ tacos out of. The potstickers we're also yummy. And one if the best boba teas i have ever had. I will definitely be coming here again soon and would highly recommend this place to others.
Cool place to eat. Staff seems to have fun and enjoy themselves. Definitely worth a try!
A so-so place. They were out of the meat I wanted, out of cups for the fountain drinks and the taste of the food was nothing special. We have eaten sushi and oriental food in about every state and this was definitely not at the top. More like right below average. We went there based on other ratings and the fact it was open on a Monday. Not impressed. Sorry but lacking flavor.
Was looking forward to visiting this place for sushi and Korean food while visiting our Baylor kid. Extremely disappointed with the service and mistakes during the night. Ordered some sushi, short ribs and poke bowl. Food was adequate although like others have said, there were boxes and clutter strewn all over the dining area. Our biggest complaint was with some of the staff and the fact they they would not own up to their mistakes and correct problems. We ordered short ribs which came without rice and side dishes. We asked someone if it should and they said no which was strange in that a dish would come with just meat with no rice but we didn’t want to complain and we kept on eating. At the end though, we were again curious so we asked another employee. She said yes it should have came with rice and apologized. We were fine with that and was just going to let it go but then we find a hair in our poke bowl while finishing up so we went to discuss that with the cashier. At that time, we brought up the fact that no rice was provided with the short ribs. That cashier again contradicted the second person saying no rice is provided although the menu and what we paid was for the dish to come with rice. She continued to argue coming with all kind of excuses and at the end, we just left not wanting to escalate but vowing never to come back. We get back home and then find that the cashier also made another mistake, mistakenly charging an item twice. The inflexibility of the cashier, not getting what we paid for, hair in the poke bowl and being mistakenly charged twice for the same item are reasons we will not be back.
